Description: The DL-44R is a full automatic variant of the DL-44, designed for use by undercover police, bodyguards and others who need maximum concealable firepower.  The DL-44R uses a larger and much heavier powerpack and is a simplified design compared to the standard DL-44, this is to keep weight manageable even with the heavy powerpack.  The simplified design is less accurate at range (+5 to difficulty at long range), but as the weapon is intended for close in work and suppressive fire this isn't considered an issue.

DL-44R's are quite popular for there intended use, and often carried by ISB agents, Sector Rangers, and Imperial couriers as well.  However, they are also very popular with less savory users such as Hutt enforcers and Black Sun members, as well as pirates and Rebels.  There high rate of fire, concealability, and power make them a fairly common means of underworld execution.
