Description: Jakoosks were a species of large creatures capable of flying and burrowing under snow native to the ice moon Celsor 3.

When the Ace Squadron conducted combat training exercises on the moon, they awoke a jakoosk that eventually attacked them. Hype Fazon was the first pilot targeted by the creature, though it was freed when Torra Doza caused an ice pillar to collapse on top of it. Soon after, the same jakoosk captured Jarek Yeager in his fighter, before the other Aces managed to free him by collapsing an ice pillar onto the creature.

The jakoosk that had threatened the Aces was later hunted to provide food for the Colossus platform, first by the Warbird gang. The warbird gang ignored Kazuda Xiono's warnings regarding the creature, and as a result, returned to the Colossus empty-handed. Xiono and Torra Doza later returned to Celsor 3, in another attempt to hunt the jakoosk. The jakoosk had briefly disabled the cannon meant to bring it down, but utilizing CB-23 as a battery instead, Xiono managed to bring the jakoosk down. The jakoosk's remains were made into food by Aunt Z.
