Description: Karnis birds were a type of bird found on the planet Tenoo, as well as its big moon. The birds chittered, were green in color, had black eyes, and had a blue-and-orange pattern on their wings. In 232 BBY, Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar and Lys Solay passed by a Karnis bird as they rode speeders on a Tenoo river, though Solay did not notice it. Later, while practicing flying in a Jedi Vector starship on the big moon, Solay became distracted by a flock of the birds—she had never seen them in person prior to then. She would have crashed into a boulder had the pilot Nash Durango not warned her.
