Description: Lufta Shif was a Human female who served as the Education Regent in the Naboo Royal Advisory Council under Queen Amidala's rule.

Before joining the Advisory Council, Shif had spent many years working as a teacher. Well-known for her ability to inspire students, she eventually gained a prestigious position in Theed University. Thanks to her amazing career in Theed, Shif was then elected to be the new Education Regent. Amidala used to be one of her students and thus carefully listened to Shif's opinions.

In 32 BBY, Shif was one of Queen Amidala's advisors gathered in the Theed Royal Palace's throne room when the Trade Federation launched their invasion of Naboo.

During the invasion, many Naboo were sent to jail, including members of the Advisory Council. Shif spent her time in the prison camps alleviating people's minds and even getting some classes running.
