Protectorate, the Shepherd-Class APC is now used all over the galaxy. With a relatively high speed and a sturdy 8 centimeter thick biphase carbide hull backed up by a Class 3
shield generator, the Shepherd is able to speed past most defensive points to deliver troops right into the enemy's formations. The two fire-linked heavy turbolasers are used to
clear a path into the dropzone and the ten heavy pulse lasers ensure that the path stays clear. With excellent overlapping fields of fire, the pulse lasers can devastate unwary enemy
troopers by laying down a withering barrage of energy bolts. The pulse lasers are also superb anti-missile emplacements.
