Relat Mani

In his prime, Relat Mani was a powerful Jedi Knight. As he advanced to the rank
of Jedi Master, the Empire began its rise. His friends and fellow Jedi were either
being killed off or disappearing at alarming rates. He realized his own existance
was in serious jeopardy.

Like a handful of other Jedi across the galaxy, Relat went into hiding. However,
unlike many of the other hiding Jedi, he wasn't waiting and watching for the right
moment to rise up again and destroy the evil Empire, he had lost all hope.

He moved quietly from planet to planet, sector to sector, never staying in one
place for too long. He was very careful with his movements, always straying from
any watchful Imperial eyes and always taking up residence in unpopulated or lowly
populated areas. He never used his Jedi skills in public and in fact, only used
them enough in private to keep his practice up.

Eventually he found his way into the Palvar Sector, moving between a few star
systems before running into a young Twi'lek female by the name of Fihr Rhain on
the planet Kashan.

While Kashan was known widely through the sector, it was self reliant and apparently
had at least a mild toleration for Force sensitive citizens. After several weeks of
living out of an abandoned apartment building, Relat finally confronted Fihr, whose
presence he had felt since first arriving on Kashan.

He was pleased, he found that the young woman revitalized him and made him regain
the hope he so long ago abandonded. He took her as his apprentice and practiced
basic Force skills with her for several weeks.

Unfortunately, Rhain had many enemies, and several took notice of Relat and his
training of her. During a pleasant encounter at a local tavern, a rail gun round
burst through the wall and struck Relat in the head, killing him instantly. He
appeared before Rhain, in the form of a spirit which only she could see, and
comforted her, instructing her to continue her training and bring back the Jedi
Order.

Physical Description:
Relat has lived a long and hard life, and it reflects upon his appearance.
He has thin, sparse white hair, a short white beard and hard facial features.
His eyes are a dull brown and he still, despite the Jedi Purge and the Empire's
Jedi Hunters, tends to wear his brown and white cloak.

Personality:
Relat has lost most hope for the galaxy and himself. He keeps to himself, not
having anyone he would consider a friend for several decades. Despite not
having much hope, there is still a glimmer remaining from the young Jedi
inside of him.
