A starship factory was found on the planet Deppani in the Outer Rim. It was active during the High Republic Era and was known to have the best ships in its sector, the Bri'ahl sector. In 232 BBY, the factory was under the threat of pirates stealing starship parts. A Twi'lek and a human who worked in the factory called in the Jedi Order to stop the pirates.
Padawan Wes Vinik and younglings Nubs, Kai Brightstar, and Lys Solay arrived at the factory to stop the pirate gang led by Taborr Val-Dorn, a prince of the planet Vuundalla. Taborr was almost successful in stealing a thrust accelerator to complete the upgrades to his ship, Iron Talon, but was stopped by Kai before he could do so.
