Description: The Tactical Defense Droid, or Janix police droid, was a type of police droid that served alongside the main police force on the planet Janix, protecting both the skies and the streets. They provided much of the rote security work for their human counterparts of the Tactical Defense Force. The droids wielded blaster pistols, riot shields, operated datapads, and piloted Tactical Defense Force cruisers. The tactical defense droids had a black sensors and were adorned in blue-and-yellow plating. The droids were particularly adept at the more tedious administrative work at the Janix Civil Defense HQ. 2B0T "Two-Boots" was a Tactical Defense Droid who had no visor to cover his yellow sensors and wore a pair of boots. Following the Galactic Empire arriving on Janix, many Tactical Defense Droids were under the control of the Empire. Two-Boots later defected from the Tactical Defense Force, after Officer Wade told him that Chief Klyce was killed by the Empire.
