Description: Ah Re Won was a planet in the Outer Rim Territories. During the Republic Era, between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY, the Sith Lord Darth Sidious sent his Sith apprentice Darth Maul to meditate in stillness and quiet in the Sith temple on Ah Re Won.

A Sith temple was located on the Outer Rim planet Ah Re Won. Between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY, the Sith Lord Darth Sidious sent his Sith apprentice Darth Maul to meditate in stillness and quiet in the Ah Re Won Sith temple.

Ah Re Won Town
A town was located on the Outer Rim planet Ah Re Won. It was nestled between a beach and ancient Sith temple ruins. During the course of the local human woman Alma's life, the area grew from an unincorporated settlement into a town large enough to justify a mayorship. The ruins and the proximity to the beach made the town a potential tourist destination, which the Sullustan mayor leveraged in the construction of a luxurious hotel on the beach. Although Alma had operated a bed and breakfast near the ruins for a long time, the mayor hoped to oust the woman from her home to improve his visitors' view of the ruins. Some groups, such as the hunting party of Prince Afolonkin ventured to the town to party and imbibe in the hotel and hunt karafankata in the wilderness abutting the temple ruins.

At some point between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY, the Sith apprentice Darth Maul arrived to the town to meditate at the temple ruins and elected to stay at Alma's place hoping to find quietude. When the mayor's purposefully noisy construction failed to oust Alma, the Sullustan resorted to arson. This annoyed Maul, so the Zabrak killed the town's mayor.

Later, after the Pirate King of Sector Nine arrived to the town in search of his son, Afolonkin, who had been killed while hunting near the ruins, the furious pirate set his tank on both the hotel and Alma's inn. This caused widespread fires. As this noise frustrated Maul further, he slaughtered the pirate's crew and threw the tank into the pirate's starship, exploding both and causing further damage to the town. By the arrival of Maul's master, Darth Sidious, the town was eerily quiet in the wake of the carnage.

Alma's Bed and Breakfast
A bed and breakfast was operated by the human woman Alma in a town on the Outer Rim planet Ah Re Won. Alma was an early settler to the area and the town grew around her modest inn, which was located by ancient Sith temple ruins. Eventually, the settlement gained a mayorship, a position which became filled by a Sullustan businessman intent on building a luxurious hotel on the beachfront to attract tourism. Even so, Alma only charged two credits a night for her lodging, which included breakfast and dinner. The mayor disliked Alma and her bed and breakfast since the structure supposedly blocked visitors' view of the ruins.

At some point between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY, the Sith apprentice Darth Maul arrived to the town to meditate at the temple ruins and elected to stay at Alma's place hoping to find quietude. When the mayor's attempts to oust Alma with excessive taxation and noise failed, he resorted to arson to raze the structure. His attempts was thwarted by Maul. Later, after the Pirate King of Sector Nine arrived to the town in search of his son who had recently been killed while hunting near the ruins, the furious pirate blamed Alma, a mere bystander, for being complicit in his son's death. He ordered his tank to bombard the inn, which set it ablaze. Alma was able to escape in a starship she kept on the inn's roof.

Ah Re Won Hotel
A hotel was located on a beach within a town on the Outer Rim planet Ah Re Won. Opened by the Sullustan mayor, the luxurious lodging was intended to drive tourism to the planet and enrich its owner. To the consternation of the mayor, however, a local woman named Alma operated a simple bed and breakfast which competed with the hotel. Though Alma's place was humbler than the flashy hotel, the low room rate and location (which blocked hotel visitors' views of the nearby Sith temple ruins) threatened the mayor. At some point between around 40 BBY and 32 BBY, the Sith apprentice Darth Maul arrived to the town to meditate at the temple ruins and was offered a room at the hotel, which he refused. When the mayor annoyed Maul with his scheming to oust Alma from her inn, he was slain by the Sith.

The following morning, a hunting party led by Prince Afolonkin arrived to the hotel, hoping to imbibe and slay local karafankata, a local carnivore. When they inevitably died at the hands of Maul and mouths of the beasts, Afolonkin's father, the Pirate King of Sector Nine, stormed the town and blasted chunks off the hotel's facade to get the attention of the droids now running the establishment.
