The Sidereal Exalted are the sages and astrologers of the Exalted, as well as peerless martial artists. The Sidereal instigated the murder and imprisonment of the Solar Exalted almost 1,500 years ago in an attempt to avert an apocalypse their astrology foretold. Since then, the Sidereals have lurked in the shadows, attempting to shape the destiny of the world by manipulating the Realm. Those who disagreed with the murder of the Solars fled into exile. Many of these Sidereals seek to use the returning Solars to advance the exiles own goals. The most prominent among these exiles are the Sidereals who secretly support the Cult of the Illuminated.

Whispering Wind?s Past

Whispering Wind carries the features of both his parents in about equal measure. He has his mother?s dark straight hair, but deep violet eyes. His skin color is slightly paler than both his parent?s pale coloring.

Whispering Wind is the only child of Bright and his father. This caused a minor scandal with her wealthy family. Because of this and the fact that he seemed to have little money to support his new family, Bright?s family approved of him.

Bright was the daughter of an Eminent and wealthy merchant family from Chanta. Whispering Wind is born just outside Chanta.

As an only child in a fairly wealthy family (some of his mother?s family helped with the finances) Whispering Wind was well educated with many lessons, which he usually lacked any focus on.

Whispering Wind?s father trained him until he became a very powerful fighter. Even though he could wield a seven section staff skillfully. He was also interested in seeing new things and exploring Creation to focus on weapons alone.

Obsidian Tiger was assigned to be Whispering Winds mentor. He was a teacher at the Order of the Immaculate Dragons at the Cloister of Wisdom. Obsidian Tiger has also shown Whispering Wind that sorcery can be useful to an Exalted.

His reflection showed him that his forehead was marked with a sigil formed of bright violet light.

He usually wears a plain pale gray, belted robe with light blue trim. He now keeps his head clean shaven, as well as his face. He carries a Seven-Section Staff a truly magnificent and ancient weapon, handed down from teacher to student for hundreds of years.

After he had proved his worth he was accepted to be a student and trained by a martial arts teacher, Katanaka. He was one of the Solar Exalted of the Eclipse Caste. He was working with the Gold faction Sidereal of the Cult of the Illuminated.
