Background:
Air Force Major Derek Aldan was born in Rochester, New York, USA.
He attended Harvard Medical College in Boston, Massachusetts, where he competed in swimming events.
He gained his Ph.D and was valedictorian in his class, before joining the Air Force Pararescue Special Operations, because of his training he moved to Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico.
He is the medic for SG-Alpha team and an expert in medicine and biology.
