Manufactured by Millennium Astro-Engineering at their plant on the planet Tharkos, the Millennium Hawk was popular among smugglers and criminals that hounded the Galactic Empire during the early years of its expansion across the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories. These privateers flew specially modified Hawks that could outperform most regulation Imperial fighters, including the TIE/LN starfighter. Millennium's next development was the Millennium fighter, a larger and slower craft capable of carrying greater paloads.
