Description: The NT-242 was a type of sniper rifle. The NT-242 was considered a tank buster by many users and was one of the heaviest longblasters. The NT-242 was powerful at range, and could be modified to have a disruptor shot which could engage vehicles.

The NT-242 could also be modified with a macroscope that allowed for two magnification levels, as well as a power cell that greatly increased the time the blaster could be fired before being required to cool down.

Grummgar used an NT-242 as a hunting rifle.
