Description: Binogs were a species of enormous, six-legged amphi-mammalians found only on the planet Bogano. They had a lifespan of thousands of years, and would only breed once during their lifetime. Due to their scarcity of offspring, very few binogs were left in the galaxy.

At least one binog was alive on Bogano by the time of the Republic Era. Jedi Master Eno Cordova observed artistic depictions of this binog and hypothesized that the creature was therefore a key factor in the Zeffo's decision to create the Vault on Bogano. Years later, during the Imperial Era, Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis journeyed to Bogano on his quest to restore the Jedi Order and collected Cordova's observations about the creature. In the Binog Mesa on Bogano, Cal Kestis found a Binog painting made by the Zeffo.
