Description: LIN-V8M was an LIN demolitionmech autonomous minelayer in service to the Galactic Empire. Originally created to set charges inside ore and spice mines, it had been converted for military use. LIN-V8M was present on the Death Star I and was presumably destroyed along with that battle station during the Battle of Yavin. A similar droid (LIN-V8K) was in the same Sandcrawler as C-3PO and R2-D2.
