Description: A Droid Mod was a type of droid intelligence which could be installed in a starship, acting as an integrated co-pilot.

History
Luthen Rael made use of a Fondor Droid Mod on his heavily modified Fondor Haulcraft. This droid mod had a swiveling set of Photoreceptors installed in the cockpit, was capable of speech (though with a somewhat neutral personality), and was capable of calculating hyperspace jumps, flying and landing the ship with skill, arming weapons, analyzing sensor readings, and many other ship functions. Ultimately the Fondor Droid Mod proved invaluable during Luthen Rael's confrontation with a Cantwell-class Arrestor Cruiser, the ability to multi-task and divide ship functions giving him a potent edge in combat and his subsequent escape.
