Description: A model of battle droid was created by Baron Slandarv of the Galactic Empire at a factory on Slandarvia M-9. The model was an advanced design built for service and programmed with Imperial loyalty protocols, but Slandarv kept the droids a secret so that he could maximize his bargaining power when selling the design. Assistant Data Processor Fabarian, working for Administrator Sly Moore's Schism Imperial, gained access to Slandarv's offices to confirm the existence of the droids, leading Schism forces under the Sith Lord Darth Vader to attack the factory. Slandarv was forced to authorize the droids to be reprogrammed so that they were loyal only to Vader, rather than Emperor Palpatine.
