Special Abilities:
Discordant Harmonics: The harmonics in their voices made many species uncomfortable. Some Humans described Ayrou vocalizations as "blood-curdling", and other listeners likened the Ayrou language to a songbird being strangled. Some species even claimed actual physical harm, such as lost egg clutches, from hearing Ayrou speak. This gives them a -1D penalty for all social skill rolls except Intimidation.
Story Factors:
Hoarders: Ayrou had an instinct to hoard items for future use: a trait non-Ayrou sometimes mistook for simple greed, but which the Ayrou themselves regarded as merely practical. This trait carried over to a drive to collect as much information as possible about anything and everything. It also made them treat haggling and negotiations as an art form. It did not carry over to aggressiveness or covetousness, however.

Description: Kilan T'Dara was an Ayrou member of the Church of the Force on the moon Jedha during the High Republic Era. Around 382 BBY, she was the Church's representative on the Convocation of the Force, which they also served as the leader of. During a meeting of the Convocation, an envoy of the Yacombe arrived at the Convocation Chambers to apply for membership on the Convocation. In response, Sirené, the reprensentative of the Fallanassi attempted to attack the envoy as they saw the Yacombe as dark siders. Representative Elris Florent of the Disciples of the Whills informed Kilan that, as leader of the Convocation they had to do something, which Kilan attempted to do by asking the Fallanassi to lay down their weapons as there was no need for the violence. The Matukai representative, the Kel Dor Waran Val, also felt threatened by the Yacombe and attempted to attack them. Kilan again tried to stop the representatives, reminding them that the Convocation stood for peace and unity, which again failed. Before they could attack, the Jedi Oliviah Zeveron drew their lightsaber and stood in defense of the Yacombe, and pointed out the hypocrisy of the Fallanassii and Matukai's insistence that they were protecting the light, yet the Yacombe was the only one not fighting, which finally got the representative to stop.
Kilan then apologized to the envoy on behalf of the Church of the Force and Convocation, and asked if they wanted to add anything more to their application. The envoy's Ximpi then informed the Convocation that the Yacombe were retracting their application as they did not believe that Jedha was a place of peace and harmony, and left. With the envoy gone, Kilan informed the representatives that would conclude the days business, which Zeveron questioned, suggesting they talk about what had just happened. Susalee, the representative for the Lonto, then agreed with Kilan's idea, adding that a new day would bring fresh perspective. As Zeveron left, Radicaz Dobbs arrived to speak on behalf of the Path of the Open Hand.
