        Bite: Umbramoth have a vicious bite used for feeding from their prey, this does (Str +2D) when used in combat
        Lifting: Umbramoth usually grab and lift their prey into the air to kill and eat, this means even if the prey manages to escape from their grasp they will suffer potentially deadly damage from the fall. The Umbramoth makes a normal attack, but instead of doing damage, it makes a Strength {Moderate} test to see if it lifts it's prey into their air. Breaking out of this, requires a contested Str test between the prey and the Umbramoth.

Description: The umbramoth was a type of large moth that resided in the forests of the planet Khofar. A group of umbramoths was known as an eclipse. As larvae, they gestated in protective cocoons on the trunks of trees until they hatched into winged creatures that were attracted to light. During the High Republic Era, when a team of Jedi visited Khofar in search of the Force-sensitive assassin Mae-ho Aniseya, they were led by the tracker Bazil through a grove that served as a breeding ground for an eclipse of umbramoths. Aniseya's sister, Osha, touched one of the creatures, which awoke and became hostile. When Jedi Master Sol ignited his lightsaber, the umbramoth flew toward it and Sol sliced the creature in two. Later another Umbramoth attacked Vernestra Rwoh from behind. She ignited her lightwhip and sliced it two, just like Sol had previously done.
