Biography
In 132 BBY, Holden participated in a small council meeting called by Master Vernestra Rwoh to discuss the emergence of the Force-sensitive assassin Mae-ho Aniseya. After the group reviewed holocam footage provided by Master Sol of Mae in combat with him, Holden noted that the assassin's fighting abilities were weak because she relied heavily on emotion to guide her actions. Sol and Master Ki-Adi-Mundi pointed out that Mae had demonstrated some skill, indicating that she had received training. This led Holden to ask who had done so, with Sol stating that Mae did not know her Master's identity, an idea ridiculed by Mundi.
Holden then speculated that Mae and her Master might be evidence of a splinter Order or something worse while Mundi declared that Mae could pose a great threat to them. When Sol argued that she was undisciplined, Rwoh pointed out that Mae had managed to evade him and kill two Masters Indara and Torbin, with Kelnacca still alive. Rwoh also corrected Sol when he stated that Mae had targeted the trio, pointing out that he was also on Mae's list, a convenient thread tying all four of them to her: they were all stationed on Mae's home planet when she was a child. Rwoh also mentioned that it was odd that Mae had now appeared years later, having been trained by a Jedi. When Holden questioned her on this, Rwoh stated that what she had seen in the hologram was confirmation enough.
When Mundi said that they must inform the High Council, Rwoh insisted that they keep the matter to themselves, arguing that the Council would be obliged to inform the Senate, which result in a scandal capable of spreading fear and mistrust. Deciding that the group needed more information, Rwoh ordered Holden to go retrieve Kelnacca from Khofar and intercept Mae there. When Holden asked what to do if Mae resisted, Rwoh stated that she did not expect such an outcome and adjourned the meeting.
However, Rwoh soon changed her mind after Sol convinced her to let him lead the mission instead of Holden, who witnessed their conversation while accompanying Mundi out of the room. Ultimately Holden remained on Coruscant while Sol led his own team to Khofar.
