Description: A cortosis gauntlet was a protective gauntlet made with cortosis metal. A Sith known as "the Stranger" during the High Republic Era wore one such gauntlet on his left arm. He utilized this gauntlet in a battle on Khofar, where it protected him from lightsaber strikes. The gauntlet was later destroyed by Yord Fandar when the young Jedi used the remains of the Stranger’s Cortosis helmet to smash it.
