Description: Pirate dropships, also referred to as ships for brevity, were a type of open-topped, cannoned repulsorcraft utilized by pirates during the New Republic Era. Around 9 ABY, dropships were used by Captain Silvo's pirate gang during the Invasion of At Attin. Upon landing, several drop teams began rounding up the planet's townsfolk, whereas a few others remained airborne to shell disobedient At Attin residents from above the ground. With the arrival of a New Republic squadron, however, the drop teams retreated, heading for their frigate, which shortly crashed under the impact of aerial fire.
