Description: "The Supervisor" was a massive droid in charge of the government of the planet of At Attin. He had an office where Fara served as an Undersecretary.
Biography
After four children named Wim, Neel, Fern, and KB found an old starship buried in At Attin's woods outside their city and got lost in space when they accidentally activated it, the Supervisor was reached out to by the parents of the kids so they could see how to track them down, but the Supervisor dispatched a droid to inform the worried adults that because their children had crossed the Barrier they wouldn't risk sending a ship nor contact the Galactic Republic to help locate the kids, much to the dismay of the parents, leading Fara to announce her intentions to request an immediate audience with the Supervisor to find their sons and daughters.
Over time, Wendle became convinced that the Supervisor wasn't going to do anything to recover the kids and began conspiring with the other parents to go behind their back and launch a communication buoy to instruct the children on how to return home.
The Supervisor later made a public announcement to all of At Attin, announcing the imminent arrival of a Republic Emissary and declared all non-essential work to be suspended until offloading was complete. Unbeknownst to everyone but the Skeleton Crew, the alleged Emissary was the pirate Jod Na Nawood, who had commandeered the Onyx Cinder as part of a plan to plunder At Attin's wealth. Na Nawood would then demand a meeting with the Supervisor for aiding on communicating with his pirate frigate beyond the Barrier.
When Fern and Fara met the Supervisor, he revealed to them he was familiar with the Undersecretary and had been watching over her and Fern with great interest. Jod asked if they are ruled by a droid.
The Supervisor turned his attention to Jod and asked him to introduce himself. Jod claimed to be an Emissary for the Republic and a Jedi. He used the Force to levitate his lightsaber. The Supervisor said that he was beginning to doubt whether an Emissary would visit the At Attin Mint again, since none had in a long time. Jod claimed that the Galactic Republic had been preoccupied with thwarting numerous "evil schemes." The Supervisor remarked that the galaxy must be dangerous.
Jod then started to tell the Supervisor that he needed to contact his second ship, prompting Fara to ask why his second ship didn't simply land as his first one had. Jod asserted his authority by telling her that she needed to obey him as Republic Emissary. The Supervisor concurs that strict obedience to authority had kept At Attin running for generations. The Supervisor asked Jod to clear one final detail before giving permission for his second ship to land. The Supervisor revealed that the last message that they received from the Republic was that all Jedi were traitors. He asked Jod whether he was lying about being an Emissary or a Jedi.
With Jod unable to answer, Fern shouted out that Jod was really a pirate trying to invade the mint. The Supervisor stated he had suspected that to be the case and ordered the safety droids to arrest the impostor. In response, Jod stabbed the Supervisor with his lightsaber, deactivating him, which subsequently caused a citywide power outage and shut down all the safety droids.
