Legacy (2013) 10

What is it ? : Gaz Stazi's fleet attacks the Sith Forces in Dac's ruined shipyards, and warn Ania to not attack the tanker, which makes her wonder why a tanker is present. Aboard the station the Quarren and Mon Calamari slaves are revolting against the Sith, declaring that if they don't do something, no one will.
Jao is fighting Darth Luft and is knocked to the ground with the Sith prepared to make a killing blow against him, when suddenly a wave of water rushes through the station. The Mon Calamari and Quarren as aquatic beings survive easily, but the Sith forces are drowned, and Yalta Val and Aquatic Stormtroopers board the station and declare it to be liberated, offering their help to the former slaves.
A number of the pirates who have been helping the Sith realise they won't be getting paid any more, so abandon the fight opening airlocks to escape out of the station.
While this would throw everyone inside into space, the water freezes on contact with the cold of space, temporarily saving them. When the ice eventually shatters, the communications droid that has been accompanying Jao, access the controls for the doors and closes them once more.
Jao continues to fight Luft, who is a better fighter than him, but is distracted by Cadet Imperial Knights arriving, allowing Jao to stab him from behind, killing him.
With the Sith beaten, and the pirates having fled, the slaves are freed, and Yalta Val asks Jao if he'll be returning to his duties, but he tells him no and will be continuing to try to track down Darth Wredd. Yalta tells him that the punishment for this will be death, but Jao insists, leaving with AG-37, Sauk and Ania aboard AG-37's ship.
As they leave they get a message from Darth Wredd, congratulating them on following the trail he left for them, and taking out Luft just as he desired.
Jao is annoyed that they've been doing Wredd's bidding all along, but Ania points out they killed a Sith, and freed a lot of people, which is undoubtedly a worthwhile, and after all that, taking out another arrogant Sith should be easy. . . .

High Points : The use of the tanker is absolutely brilliant, flooding the station with water to use the aquatic nature of the Mon Cal and Quarren against their captors. The slaves can breath the water and act easily in it, giving them a massive advantage against the Sith and Pirates.
And although Luft is a better fighter than Jao, he's easily distracted which Jao uses to his advantage and strikes him down.
It's also nice to see them explain Wredd's plan, as if it wasn't him leaving a trail then it made no sense for them to find out that Dieben was coming to Dac. But it still shows that Wredd is no great planner, and definitely isn't in Palpatine or Naga Sadow, as his plan only succeeded because some guards passed the information onto Ania and Jao, because Dieben died before he could tell them.

Low Points : While I love the idea with the tanker, it does seem to be a lot of water from a single fairly small ship compared to the massive size of the shipyard which forms a ring round the entire planet. But I suppose that the Sith were only using a very small part of it, as we do see the water spreading out and becoming only ankle deep as it spreads through the station.

So what do you really think ? : A nice ending to this story arc, and while it seems to end very quickly, the overwhelming forces brought against a single Sith and his pirate allies totally crushed them, so it makes sense.

Final Words : But where does the series go from here, as the heroes still want to go after Wredd, but haven't any clues to follow at the moment. But this is still a better situation than the original Legacy series often found itself, where we didn't even know the motivation for the main character, least what their next move would be. At least with Ania we know she wants to find and beat Wredd.

Score : 8.5/10
