Star Wars Jedi: Survivor: Koboh and the Forest Array
What is it ? : With the Stinger Mantis damaged in the escape from Coruscant, Cal takes it to Greez Dritus on the world of Koboh. He crashes the ship and has to travel to the settlement where Greez operates a bar, but when he arrives finds it under lockdown from a gang called the Bedlam Raiders, and has to defeat one of their bosses to gain access to the bar.
He speaks to Greez who offers him the part he needs, but they are in storage in caves under the bar, so Cal ventures down, but the floor collapses and on his route back he encounters a droid from the High Republic called ZN-A4, nicknamed Zee.
Zee tells Cal about a hidden moon around Koboh, hidden within the Koboh Abyss, a deadly Nebula near to Koboh. On the hidden moon is a Jedi Temple, which due to the Abyss would make a perfect hiding place from the Empire.
Cal sets off for the Forest Array which was used to navigate through the Abyss back in the High Republic Era. Reaching the Forest Array, he finds the ground is covered with deadly blue dust, but he manages to keep above it and to clear it using old energy beams, and to glide above obstacles using bat creatures.
Reaching the tower in the middle of the array, he enters it and has a vision of the hidden moon, Tanalor, but when he awakens he awakens a Jedi, Dagan Gera, from the High Republic Era who he witnessed in the vision discovering Tanalor. Dagan has been in healing ever since as he lost an arm. Dagan flees the combat with the help of the Bedlam Raiders, leaving Cal to return to the settlement where he discovers that the Stinger Mantis has been recovered and repaired.
High Points : Koboh is a truly massive environment to explore, and it provides the main overlevel throughout the rest of the game, so we'll be returning and exploring further again and again. It dwarfs the Bogano level which did some of the same thing in Fallen Order, and exploring is a pretty fun activity in itself.
The entire sequence encountering Dagan Gera is very well done, with the vision when Cal touches the healing chamber showing Cal the discovery of Tanalor, but somehow from within the vision Dagan realises that Cal isn't part of the original memory. Leading to the awakening of Dagan, and moments of hope as Cal thinks he discovered a Jedi to help him defeat the Empire. But Dagan tells Cal of the betrayal (as he sees it) when the Nihil attacked Tanalor and the Jedi council ordered the moon abandoned, leading Dagan's anger bleeding his lightsaber crystal and his saber turning red. The scene is intense, and does allow you to feel a little for Dagan, that he was looking for a sanctuary, but the Jedi Council let him down.
Low Points : While I feel a little for Dagan, he's arriving in the modern era still holding grudges against the Jedi Order even though the Jedi Order is gone, you'd think he'd consider their annihilation to settle his grudge. We also discover his plan is to use the Bedlam Raiders as a military force, but the idea that the Empire would consider this rabble a threat is ridiculous, the game even states that the Empire avoids Koboh as the Bedlam Raiders are too dangerous to mess with. I know the game doesn't want to just have Stormtroopers and Inquisitors as villains again, but it would have made more sense if Dagan could have brought something more intimidating from the High Republic era rather than just a hidden sanctuary.
So what do you really think ? : Koboh is a really enjoyable level, and we're getting to meet one of the bad guys and a new ally, with Zee being a fun character, even if they keep them on Koboh for story reasons (she likes hanging around the bar).
I did find exploring the planet to be satisfying, and as you gain more abilities, it opens up in a far more interesting way that Bogano did, where the abilities were just barriers to be passed, where on Koboh it actually feels like you need those abilities for the new areas.
Final Words : So we'll be back on Koboh a few more times, although I'm not going to bother with the fishing or farming aspects of decorating the bar.
Score : 9/10

First off, are you going to list stats for what you find on Koboh as you come back, or completely in one swoop?
Second, Dagan's lightsaber seemed more orange than red. But he definitely allowed the Dark Side to influence him.

While youre fully correct in that the empire could squash the raiders there is a bit of precedent for why they might leave Koboh and the raiders alone
Corruption
the Empire especially the moffs are well known for being corrupt as all get out. So if the raiders made a deal to shuffle some stolen merch and or credits the moffs way then its fully plausible for the empire to turn a blind eye as long as the raiders didnt attack imperial interests or at least dont hit them too hard, and as long as no rebel activity happens there the raiders could operate there mostly unmolested
