Clover (Cloverfield) | Orthog (Dock Worker) | Cha-a drone ship | Pendra Siliu (Human Child) |

What is it ? : We pick up from last issue, Imperial Agent, Morrigan Corde knocked Sith Agent, Jor Torlin, unconscious. He awakens on his own ship with Morrigan having taken control of it, and they decide to work together even though they don't trust one another.
Morrigan points out that Cade has left The Wheel already, but there is another threat present, as the meeting between the Galactic Alliance Fleet and the Fel Empire is taking place, they use specialised Probe droids to take control of the Imperial Shuttle to open fire on the Alliance one, causing the two sides to end the negotiations due to their natural distrust and the attack.
The Administrator of The Wheel tells them they are not welcome back due to the fighting.
Morrigan and Torlin decide that Cade can only have gone one of two places, the Hape's cluster, or Ossus. Ossus is the easier to check, so they head there, where they detect Cade's presence, but Torlin turns on Morrigan as he doesn't trust her, however she poisoned him earlier as she expected it. She then looks at a hologram of younger version of herself, a man, and a child, and a flashback to when the picture of when it was taken, when she abandoned her child Cade without even ever looking at him, and she decides to do the same now, leaving the world without tracking him down.
High Points : The idea of causing the two distrustful sides in the negotiations to believe they've attacked one another without cause, is well done, hacking into their ships systems and opening fire. But mainly this seems to be a way of getting a ship and weapons into the hands of Morrigan Corde.
Low Points : So Morrigan is Cade's mother, leading to a "Cade, I am your Mother!" moment at some point in the future, which is just cringe inducing.
But really there's just not much going on in this issue, they tracked Cade to The Wheel last issue, and he's left before they even start searching. The writers definitely seemed to think the short flashback and revelation of Morrigan's identity would be dramatic enough to make the rest of the issue worth it.
So what do you really think ? : So this issue and the last are supposed to be an entire story, and that story is, Cade's mum is an Imperial agent who abandoned him at birth, and now she has access to the best technology the Sith have to offer, but doesn't want to track him down despite being ordered to. I suppose that could lead to an interesting story, as Moff Calixte realises she's not doing her job, but that she has some value in trying to capture Cade. So I guess we'll see where that goes.
Final Words : I'm guessing that returning to Ossus along with Wolf Sazen and Shado Vao means that Cade is going to pick up his Jedi training again, which could be interesting, but I'm despairing at the choices this comic series is making so far, but as I've said, I have memories of enjoying it, so perhaps things will turn around.
