A-6 Sniper | Rystall Sant (Half Theelin Dancer/Entertainer) | Pirate Dropship | Teenar (Human Senator) |

What is it ? : Moff Morlish Veed awakens in his quarters to find that Morrigan Corde has sneaked into them and is pointing a gun at him, they discuss her mission to rescue or kill Cade Skywalker, and make arrangements for her to be able to fulfil this mission, before Veed invites her into his bed, but she refuses and leaves, leading to him deciding that she is disposable.
At Ruk's Cantina, Deliah and Jariah are speaking to Queen Jool and discovering that Cade left his ship for them, Deliah wants to rescue Cade, but Jariah is scared by their experience, so doesn't want anything to do with Cade or even his ship, offering it to Chak and Kee who are still looking for their ship that Deliah and Jariah borrowed, which was taken by Rav.
The group notices that Morrigan Corde is suddenly sitting at their table, and she is arranging for them to all help rescue Cade, but they demand to know who she is, and she reveals that she is Cade's mother, and they agree to work with her.
Meanwhile in the Sith Temple, Cade remarks he has no idea who A'Sharad Hett is, and Darth Krayt tells him of how he was a Jedi during the Clone Wars, but when his Clone Troopers turned on him during Order 66, he went into hiding among the Sand People of Tatooine, as his father had been a clan leader.
One day he was leading his clan into a raid on a Moisture Farmer and his Wife when Obi-Wan Kenobi blocked the way, after a short talk where Kenobi demands that Hett leaves the planet they fought. But rather than killing him, Kenobi removed his head coverings, dishonouring him among the Sand People and making him an exile, forcing him to leave. He later discovered that the Farm was where Anakin Skywalkers son was being hidden.
Cade taunts him about being down to the Skywalkers, and Darth Talon attempts to punish him for slighting her master, but Cade blasts her with force energy despite his hands being shackled. He then tells her how his healing powers can see all the wounds she's had, and he can heal them, or tear them open. Krayt tells him that the Jedi ways have failed Cade and he can teach him, something Cade accepts, and is commanded to heal Talon, as she will be his first Sith Master.
Meanwhile on Ossus, Stormtroopers are searching for any Jedi which might have returned to the Jedi Temple, but the Jedi and Yuuzhan Vong manage to evade detection, but feel like they're being watched, as we see aboard a Star Destroyer in orbit a Sith Warrior, Darth Stryfe. who can sense their presence.
High Points : The scenes with Obi-Wan are interesting, seeing him protecting the Lar's family from Sand People raiders, and protecting Luke by forcing another Jedi to leave the planet to not bring Imperial attention there. And that he manages this without harming the Jedi, just destroying his status among the Sand People, shows the wisdom that Obi-wan always projected rather than just being an expert warrior.
Low Points : But so much of the rest of the issue just seems to happen because the story wants it to, Jariah, Deliah, Chak and Kee team up with Morrigan Corde, not because they want to, or because she gives any great reasons for them to, but just because the story needs them to be working together now. Jariah, Chak and Kee all seem particularly hesitant, before just changing their mind because Morrigan has baby pictures.
And Cade turning to the Dark Side, doesn't happen because Cade has any particular want for power, or hatred for the Jedi, but once again, just because he needs to be a Sith when the rescue team arrives.
So what do you really think ? : A large middle section of this issue is the lightsaber fight between A'Sharad Hett and Obi-Wan, and it's pretty pointless, as we know both survive, so it's treading water until we see how Obi-Wan will force Hett to leave. The glimpse into Obi-Wan's duty guarding Luke and keeping him safe is kind of cool, but the rest of the issue just is putting pieces into place so the story can continue.
Final Words : So I'm guessing that the rescue mission will either go wrong when they find Cade is there voluntarily now, or they will rescue him against his will, and his feelings for Deliah will lead to a redemption.
But it's really not grabbing my attention, Legacy really isn't finding a way of telling a compelling story, which given it's one of the more interesting Star Wars premises, is really disappointing.
