Description: The 2X Perimeter Security Droid is not a powerful combat droid designed to keep intruders out of corporate facilities, but is instead designed to help farmers protect their produce against theft and loss from animals. It does this by using two methods, firstly it is equipped with Infra Red Sensors allowing it to patrol an area and use its commlink to inform its owner of any attempt at intrusion, secondly it is equipped with an Ultrasonic Harmonic Generator which can be tuned to create noise unpleasant to most animals, forcing them to avoid the area patrolled by the 2X. TooEx's are extremely old designs, but many farmers swear by their ability to keep scavenging animals away from their crops, but swear at their inability to deal with intruders properly, but these quiet and reliable droids continue to work on farms on worlds as diverse as Tatooine to Naboo providing light, protection and security for many years to come.
