Description: The JN series of droid was designed by Cybot Galactica to work in labs, and to help with routine policework. Some of these were employed by the Jedi Council to work in their library, and their repulsorlift drive was extremely helpful in this cavernous structure. Many parts of the JN series was drawn from other droids manufactured by Cybot Galactica, and this made the droid cheap to design, however this piecemeal construction also turned out to be the droids main flaw, with many parts having a higher fail rate than in the designs they were originally made for. JN series droids still remain in operation, however they now are put into a variety of roles they were not made for, and many end up being used for manual labour and office work, jobs they perform poorly in.
