Description: The XP-38 is a streamlined and fast Landspeeder aimed at the youth market, designed to cash in on the legend forming around Luke Skywalker, the speeder is similar in design to the one he owned, and has a slot for an Astromech droid at the back to hook into the feel of a starfighter. Although this styling has led to it being dismissed by many as a cheap advertising gimmick, the speeder itself is well built and reliable, and does manage to look sleek and well designed if the observer is willing to ignore the obvious attempts at selling to the young pilot. The speeder didn't sell particularly well however, and was dropped after only a year or so on the market, to poor second hand sale prices for a relatively new speeder making it a real bargain for those seeking a fast speeder at a low price.
