Description: The Guardian Blaster Rifle is an older design dating from the final days of the Old Republic when it was marketed as a perfect weapon for ceremonial and security guards. It was a powerful, accurate and long ranged weapon which was perfect for this role, and it sold very well, being used by the Republic Senate Guard themselves, but this connection led to the discontinuation of this weapon as the Senate fell into disrepute and assassination of Senators became common. This blaster rifle is fairly bulky and is often mistaken for a Light Repeating Blaster Rifle, but is generally considered to be a good looking weapon and is still popular to this day.
