Description: The DB-33 Advanced Laser Rifle (ALR) is a military specification weapon designed using the latest advances in technology, the bullpup configuration allows a longer barrel and more efficient galvern pattern to be used. This in turn keeps the weapons power use to a minimum, extending ammunition capacity, extends the weapons effective range beyond that normal for a Blaster Rifle, and finally provides a more powerful bolt than most of the competition. The stock of the weapon contains a storage space for 2 extra energy clips, allowing users to keep using the weapon for longer in the field, and the top mounted scope provides a macrobinocular feature (reducing all range penalties by one level) as well as a targeting scope for improving the users aim (adds 1D to the users Blaster skill). Introduced six years after the Battle of Endor but not adopted by either of the major powers in the Galactic Civil War, the DB-33 ALR has managed to sell remarkably well in the mercenary and planetary militia markets.
