Description: The Dora-mu was a creature originally from the Yuuzhan Vong's home galaxy that was taken with them in the Worldships. The massive aquatic animal was covered in thousands of long, chitenous green scales. The scales were highly prized by the Shapers for their resistance to blaster fire and regenerative properties. The Shapers used scales from the Dora-mu as armor plating for the aquatic biot vehicle, the Vangaak. The scales did not die upon removal from the Dora-mu, however. They moulded themselves onto the Vangaak and drew their nourishment from the vehicle, joining in a new symbiotic relationship with the Vangaak.
