Specters are potentially related to Pink Demons, having the same bipedal muscular form, lots of teeth, and a lust for blood.  They also have thick hides and take a lot of damage to bring down.  However, the specter is nearly invisible and hard to target, resulting in higher defenses, and is extremely good at sneaking up on targets to use its bite in the close combat it prefers, often by surprise.
