Description: Nobah was an alien prefect whose community on an ice planet paid tribute to the Neo-Imperial warlord Barro for protection during the New Republic Era. During or after 11 ABY, Barro informed Nobah and five other local leaders that he was increasing the tribute they owed, causing the alien to object since they were already operating at a loss and were plagued by piracy. Barro took this as a criticism of his protection and shot Nobah dead with his blaster pistol.

Biography
Nobah was the alien prefect of a community on an Outer Rim ice planet during the reign of the New Republic. The warlord Barro and his faction of Neo-Imperial forces had an Imperial base on the planet and demanded tribute from Nobah and five other local leaders for protection. During or after 11 ABY, Nobah and the other leaders were summoned to Barro's base, where the warlord told them how lucky they were to have his protection and had them all declare "Long Live the Empire" while seated around his desk.

Barro then informed them that he would be raising their tribute, as protection was expensive and he no longer had the Empire's funds at his disposal. As the other local leaders looked concerned, Nobah protested, pointing out that they were already operating at a loss and that pirates and thieves plagued the hyperspace routes they used. Barro took this as a criticism of the protection he offered, and Nobah rapidly tried to clarify what they meant, but the warlord pulled out an SE-14r light repeating blaster and shot the alien prefect dead before they could finish their sentence. Barro told the rest of the local leaders to return to their townships and focus on solutions rather than excuses; however, the warlord was killed soon after the exchange by the mercenary Din Djarin.

Personality and traits
Nobah grudgingly repeated the Imperial mantra for Barro but was the only prefect who spoke up in objection at the raised tribute. The alien had light skin, brown eyes, and thinning gray hair worn in braids and a beard.
