Extending Lightsaber

Lightsabers with variable blade lengths have been in existance for quite some
time, even though not extremely popular among the Jedi. In order to create a
variable blade length the lightsaber itself is constructed with a second gem
to focus the beam. Proper allignment of the gems is extremely difficult which
is what makes it a very rare lightsaber variant.

The blade size is selected by clicking the main on/off switch. Double clicking
this button when igniting will extend the blade to its extended length while
a single click will only extend it to the normal length.

These lightsabers, while ungainly and awkward at first, can prove useful when
there's a need to take on a target from a greater distance or for cutting
through thicker objects such as trees or reinforced blast doors.

Game Notes: If a character does not have the specialization of Lightsaber:
            extending lightsabers, then he or she shall suffer a -2D penalty
            when using the weapon with the blade extended in length.
            If an attacking character misses the difficulty number by more
            than 10 points (the base difficulty; not their opponent's
            Parry total), the character has injured himself with the
            lightsaber blade. Apply normal damage to the character wielding
            the lightsaber.
