Description: The INT-4 Interceptor was a scout craft used by the Galactic Empire.

The INT-4 was a capable spacegoing starfighter, equipped with deflector shields in contrast to the TIE/ln starfighters of this time. A short-range flyer operated by a single pilot, at least one version of the INT-4 was designed to also be deployable from within the body of an AT-AT.

A version of the INT-4 was employed within the Centrality as early as 3 BBY, in events surrounding the Battle of ThonBoka. These probably included the several squadrons of "interceptors" guarding the secret Imperial Navy research base on the surface of Hosrel XI.

Vehicles of this type were also used by Blizzard Force to scout for the Rebel base on Hoth in 3 ABY.

These are aerial scouts to be deployed from inside walkers for short-range scouting and interception missions. They are light repulsorcraft, not full-scale shielded starfighters.

The text description was directly from Wookieepedia at the time the stats were done, so at the time they were "a capable spacegoing starfighter, equipped with deflector shields", which has now been revised on Wookieepedia. But I'm afraid I don't have the time or inclination to keep up to date with how every stat on the site has been revised in the Star Wars universe (for example, in the time the site has been running, Darth Maul has gone from being an Iridonian, to an Iridonian Zabrak, to a Dathomirian Zabrak).
If you'd like to submit updated stats, just send them in, and I'll post them up for you.
