         Arboreal: Although Pabu Island is free from trees by the Imperial era the Moon-yo are skilled climbers, perhaps suggesting that it was once forested. However this skill still remains useful as they climb around the habitations which have been built, and can climb the mountain in the centre of the island with ease if there is any danger such as the Sea Surges which endanger the island from time to time. This ability gives them a bonus +2D to their climbing skill.

Description: Moon-yos were a creature that inhabited a remote island on Pabu. According to the elders of the island, moon-yos had inhabited Pabu before humans had settled there.

Around 18 BBY, a group of moon-yos playing outside mayor Shep Hazard's house felt tremors under the the island. This caused distress among them and they dispersed, as the tremors caused a sea surge.
