What is it ? : At Ania's scrapyard some scrappers are searching for anything of value as Ania hasn't paid various bills, but they are accosted by a figure in armour demanding to know where Ania is.
Meanwhile Ania, Jao, Sauk and AG-37 are manoeuvring through a minefield, around the vessels which have been wrecked within it, they manage to avoid being destroyed, although are damaged so set down on a nearby planet which is surrounded by the field, and they have been paid highly to get to it.
Ania sees a beast being abused and gambles that she will be able to ride it without abusing it, but gets thrown, losing her comlink as part of the gamble. Jao discovers a wanted poster for Ania for the murder of an Imperial Knight. She denies having even seen an Imperial Knight before Jao, but he is suspicious of her past and why she was hiding out in Carreras.
As they leave the planet through the Minefield, they become damaged, but Sauk finds the damage odd, and their Communications Droid notices something odd about a nearby piece of wreckage, which contains a living being.
They dock with the wreckage, and the being comes aboard and recognises Ania, and the two kiss. Ania introduces him as Ramid a friend from way back, and they decide to help him repair his ship as he and Ania catch up. Sauk thinks the damage they received was from blaster fire not the wreckage or a mine, and just Ania and Ramid board his ship, the door suddenly slams shut, while his ship undocks. Ania is confused but gets grabbed by two other people hiding on his ship.
As the vessel flees, AG-37 pursues as neither of them can jump to hyperspace within the minefield.
But the other ship fires it's weapons setting off a mine, delaying AG-37's pursuit, allowing the other vessel to escape into Hyperspace at the edge of the Minefield. . . .

High Points : While it's all set up for this story arc, it gets straight into the action, introducing us to the minefield which is the scene for the action in the rest of the issue is built around. This is skilful scene setting, so we're not getting pages of introduction where nothing happens, and it's preserving a certain amount of mystery as we're not really told where Ania knows Ramid from, what their relationship was apart from being close enough to kiss on meeting again, and especially why he has two other people with him who kidnap Ania, although presumably it's something to do with the wanted poster they found earlier in the issue.

Low Points : But it gets to annoying start, last issue they were trying to track down Darth Wredd but didn't have any leads, now they seem to be doing some kind of delivery job to earn money. While I suppose they need to make a living, but it would be like if The Empire Strikes Back had begun with Luke and Leia aboard Han's ship while they were smuggling spice.
After everything they've been through, Jao is very accusatory of Ania after the wanted poster is found, now while he might be more sensitive about her crime as it's related to killed another Imperial Knight, perhaps someone he actually knew. But they've been through a lot so when she claims to know nothing about it he should trust her.
And I have to ask, how many paper Wanted Posters get distributed across the galaxy for them to randomly encounter one on a planet which is extremely difficult to get to, requiring travel through a minefield. How desperate were they to ensure everyone knows that Ania is wanted to carry boxes of posters rather than food or supplies.

So what do you really think ? : A nice start to this story arc, with mystery as to why Ania is wanted, and why an old friend of hers has kidnapped her, with the story arc entitled "Wanted: Ania Solo".
Although I'm a little concerned that we're suddenly going to be thrust into a pointless sidequest to clear Ania's name when the series has been very focused on dealing with Darth Wredd up until now.

Final Words : So the group has to find and rescue Ania, I wonder if this tied somehow into Darth Wredd's plot, has he set up the bounty for Ania to draw the group to dealing with another of his Sith Rivals, or is this completely unrelated as it first appears to be.
Also worth bearing in mind that we're already more than halfway through this series, so we're heading towards the end, so we're looking at wrapping up storylines, but revealing Ania's past can be part of this.

Score : 9/10
