Jurokk (Human Jedi Gatekeeper) | Halo D6 Rules Options v1.2.2 | AT-ST Raider (All Terrain Assault Scout Transport) | Covenant Type-51 Carbine |

What is it ? : With Ania taken, her friends repair AG-37's ship of the damage it received from the exploding mine, and track her comlink locating back on the planet they just left. But Sauk informs AG-37 that Ania gambled it away, so the signal isn't her, which Jao finds suspicious, wondering if after finding the wanted poster she wanted to be untraceable.
Meanwhile Ania is held captive, one of her captors, a Klatoonian brings her food and she ambushes him, but is captured once again with no where to go aboard the vessel, she tries to explain to Ramid what had happened, that she believed him dead, but he doesn't want to listen as it's been too long. He tells her that she should consider herself lucky that it was them that found her, as at least their returning her alive, where many bounty hunters would be happy for taking her dead body back for her bounty.
Meanwhile on Coruscant, Gar Stasi meets with Yalta Val that they've been forgiven for disobeying orders to go to Dac, and in fact it has been a public relations triumph as people actually feel like the government is doing something. So Marisiah has ordered the Imperial Knights to go after criminals, but Yalta discovers that Ania is on the wanted list. He confronts Antares Draco about this something he doesn't believe that she is capable of, but Antares thinks he's been swayed by her rescuing him, and that the Knights must be seen to not tolerate crimes against them, no matter if they are in the past.
On AG-37's ship, Jao is still very suspicious of Ania's motives, but Sauk tells him how she helped him on the streets of Carreras without even knowing him, so he's not turning his back on her now. Jao asks AG-37 how he met Ania, and he tells him that he met her escaping from a prison at the end of the war, Sauk points out there were lots of political prisoners, but Jao is even more suspicious as there were plenty of real prisoners as well.
The ship with Ania on it begins to land on a planet, when it comes under attack from a modified Tie Bomber, their pilot admits to not really being a pilot, so they allow Ania to take the controls.
Back with the heroes, AG-37 offers to show them what happened, so Sauk connects his memories up to a holo projector and after momentarily seeing one of AG-37's memories concerning Han Solo and Chewbacca, they see AG-37's and Ania's first meeting where she pulls a gun on the assassin droid. Jao is surprised that she survived doing such an action, but AG-37 explains that she had no way of knowing he was a friend, and once he made a promise to a Solo and that is all he will tell.
Even with Ania's piloting skills, the ship crashes onto the surface, and the Tie Bomber lands next to them, with the same heavily armoured figure we saw back at Ania's scrapyard at the beginning of last issue demanding she comes out if she is still alive. . . .
High Points : So we discover the reason why AG-37 has been so helpful, not only is he the nicest Assassin Droid in the Star Wars universe, but he met Han and Chewie, and made a promise to a Solo (presumably Han, but we're not told for sure) that means he will help descendants.
Of less interest, as it feels like it's coming from nowhere, we discover that Ania and Ramid's connection is from time in prison together, where they tried to escape together, but Ramid got left behind and Ania was rescued by AG-37. So Ramid is understandably aggrieved by this.
Low Points : But while the connection between AG-37 and Ania feels earned, we've seen him behaving in a very different manner to most Assassin Droids, especially around Ania. The revelations about Ania being in Prison, and leaving Ramid behind just feel like set up for what's going on, we've seen no clues or hints that she was in prison before, and no mention or clues she feels especially against leaving people behind as that happened to her before, shaping her personality. Instead it is just exposition to explain why she trusted Ramid, and why he's happy to exploit that to take her prisoner. And especially no clue how he managed to track her down to a particular minefield in a particular system where he could lay a trap which relied on her trusting him, if he believes that she betrayed him before.
So what do you really think ? : For all my complaints above, I'm enjoying this story, the political moves behind the scenes, Ania suddenly becoming valuable, and what apparently are different groups of bounty hunters competing over returning her to the government. But the stand out scenes were definitely on the ship between the heroes, each of them has such a different point of view, and while Sauk and AG-37 are both trusting of Ania, they have such different reasons, which makes the scene play out so well, especially as we discover some of AG-37's past.
Final Words : So the situation is tense, AG-37, Sauk and Jao seemingly have no way of finding Ania, and she's trapped on a world with a hostile bounty hunter tracking her down, I definitely want to see what happens next, and am guessing that Ramid hasn't been killed in the crash, so we're in for some scenes between Ania and Ramid where she gets to explain what happened during the prison breakout, presumably leading to the two of them working together to get away from this bounty hunter (although once again it's not clear how the bounty hunter managed to track Ramid's group with Ania to this planet).
