Dark illusion | Siege Perilous Class Atmospheric Attack Carrier | Adampo (Yarkora Jedi Master) | Duchess Satine Kryze (Mandalorian Politician) |

What is it ? : Taking the broken compass to Eno Cordova, he tells Cal that it'll take a while to repair, but in the meantime Cere Junda asks Cal to help an ally of theirs who is under siege from the Empire and if caught could help the Empire locate their refuge here.
Cal sets out across the desert, riding a Spamel until he reaches areas he needs to climb the mountains and move onwards.
Arriving at the Temple that Brother Armias uses, Cal gets inside fighting off Stormtroopers, and encountering energy Barriers that Merrin teaches him how to teleport through, allowing them to reach Brother Armias. He has held on to allow everyone else to escape, and when Merrin and Cal attempt to rescue him, he is crushed by the attack of an Imperial Trident Class Assault Ship.
Cal has to fight the Trident, using Merrins Teleportation to strike at it at different areas, and to escape the collapsing temple, finally returning code they received from Armias to Cere back at her refuge.
High Points : This is perhaps my favourite of the levels in Survivor, a massive map where the journey feels lengthy, but one where you gain an interesting new power and merge it with the other powers that Cal already has. There's a section where Cal must wall run and teleport through barriers, which recaptures the parkour fun of the original game, and the battle against the Trident Assault Ship feels epic, it's massive so Cal feels ineffective against it, but the teleportation ability he has gained allows him to leap from place to place making attacks against it's vulnerable points.
Plus we get some movement in the Merrin / Cal relationship as they kiss for the first time.
Low Points : The map is large, but much of it you speed through on the back of a Spamel, which succeeds in making it seem as if you're travelling a distance and not everything is clustered together on the surface of Jedha, but this section does feel a little empty with just sections of desert and ruins to ride past.
So what do you really think ? : This level was the high point of the game for me, I felt that we were really making some progress as Cal learns secrets of the Night Sisters, which is an interesting direction to take the character in, rather than just keeping him a pure Jedi. He is learning talents from the various force users across the galaxy that have been wiped out in Palpatines rise to power. We also get some movement in the Cal / Merrin relationship, which feels right as the two have been close since Fallen Order, and it's all capped off with a boss battle that feels epic rather than just another Lightsaber wielding Bedlam Raider.
Final Words : While he never uses the teleportation power in such an epic way again throughout the rest of the game, it becomes a useful addition to his skills as he can use it to move through certain force shields later on. It would have been pretty interesting if they carried Cal on this path, as he becomes more than just a Jedi, learning powers from other types of Force User, which would be an excuse why Cal is around, yet Luke is last of the Jedi, as Cal wouldn't really be a Jedi any more.
