Description: This early probe droid from Arakyd shares many features with their early recording droids, but shows many signs of its decendants like the imfamous Viper Probe Droid. The Asp is a small droid with a number of optical and auditory sensors combined with its expensive and complex logic systems, which make it a truly amazing tracker and hunter. They have a simplistic intelligence however since most of their capacity is taken up with the skills they are preprogrammed with, although some users have noticed a tendency in these droids to become somewhat skittish and easily frightened, so frequent memory wipes are required to keep them at optimal efficiency. Although now dated, these droids are still quite efficient, and sales have continued to be high, especially within the bounty hunter community who find that several of the cheaper Asps work far better than a single expensive Viper.
