Description: The Naboo NL-1 is a light variant of the Naboo Starfighter, developed by Theed Spaceworks in response to the very particular needs of the Naboo N-1 fighter. Whereas the N-1 needs specialised docking equipment, the NL-1 can use standard starport facilities for refueling and docking, the fighter is also faster and more agile than its older brother due to the same engines being used on the smaller vessel. While most of the fighters other systems as smaller and weaker than the heavier models this design is still deadly in combat, and matches up easily to newer designs, easily outclassing its rivals at the time like the Z-95 headhunter. Only sold in small numbers, the NL-1 has actually survived in larger numbers than its cousins, due mainly to the standardised docking facilities of the design, which have allowed the fighter to remain in use by private citizens even after the military docking facilities have been decomissioned.
