Description: The viscid lurker, sometimes referred to as simply lurker, was a species of jellyfish-like aquatic invertebrates endemic to the Outer Rim planet Koboh. The species dwelled in dark, underground waters of the planet, intentionally avoiding natural light. The viscid lurker fed on water-borne mites and krill found in such sunless waters.
The viscid lurker was a dangerous species to encounter, as their tendrils emitted a sharp electrical shock powerful enough to sting larger species, but lethal to its prey.

Skoova Stev, a fisherman who resided on Koboh, caught a viscid lurker in the Phon'Qi Caverns in 9 BBY and put it in the aquarium at Pyloon's Saloon. Given his diminutive statute, the Sakavian made a reputation for himself for his abilities to infiltrate the small dwellings of lurkers and catch them.
