A few additions from the subject of yesterdays review, Han Solo and the Lost Legacy. Today I've added, Xim's Guardian Corps to the Star Wars D/6 Droids Section, Dellalt and Rudrig to the Star Wars D/6 Planets Section, the Swimming People of Dellalt to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section, Ruurian to the Star Wars D/6 Races Section, and Ebla beer to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section of the Site.

And there ends my week long deviation through the Star Wars books I read as a kid in the late 70's and early 80's. Tomorrow we're onto the final season of The Clone Wars, catch you then.

STAR WARS RESISTANCE, ANIME-INSPIRED SERIES, SET FOR FALL DEBUT

Well it's no secret that I loved Rebels, but have to admit I'm quite excited about this. Wonder if we'll get any old faces popping up?

This fall, welcome to the Resistance!

StarWars.com is thrilled to announce that production has begun on Star Wars Resistance, an exciting new animated adventure series about Kazuda Xiono, a young pilot recruited by the Resistance and tasked with a top-secret mission to spy on the growing threat of the First Order. It will premiere this fall on Disney Channel in the U.S. and thereafter, on Disney XD and around the world.

Featuring the high-flying adventure that audiences of all ages have come to expect from Star Wars, Star Wars Resistance — set in the time prior to Star Wars: The Force Awakens — will feature the beloved droid BB-8 alongside ace pilots, colorful new characters and appearances by fan favorites including Poe Dameron and Captain Phasma, voiced by actors Oscar Isaac and Gwendoline Christie, respectively.

The series was created by renowned Lucasfilm Animation veteran Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels); executive-produced by Athena Portillo (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels), Justin Ridge (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) and Brandon Auman (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles); and art-directed by Amy Beth Christenson (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels).

“The idea for Star Wars Resistance came out of my interest in World War II aircraft and fighter pilots” said Filoni. “My grandfather was a pilot and my uncle flew and restored planes, so that’s been a big influence on me. There’s a long history of high-speed racing in Star Wars, and I think we’ve captured that sense of excitement in an anime-inspired style, which is something the entire team has been wanting to do for a long time.”

Marc Buhaj, senior vice president, Programming and general manager, Disney XD, said, “Our colleagues at Lucasfilm have created a compelling narrative for an untold moment in the Star Wars galaxy, and we are excited to partner with them again on this new original series. Star Wars Resistance will bring viewers across generations an engaging story with heart, humor and both new and familiar characters.”

In addition to Isaac and Christie, the voice cast includes actors Christopher Sean (Days of Our Lives), Suzie McGrath (East Enders), Scott Lawrence (Legion), Myrna Velasco (Elena of Avalor), Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), Donald Faison (Scrubs), Bobby Moynihan (DuckTales), Jim Rash (Community), and Rachel Butera (Tammy’s Tiny Tea Time).

A few additions from the subject of yesterdays review, Han Solos Revenge. Today I've added Nothoiin to the Star Wars D/6 Races Section, and Repulsorlift scooter, Hovertaxi to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section of the Site.
There wasn't much to find which wasn't covered in the Han Solo and the Corporate Section Sourcebook, but the next book leaves the Corporate Sector behind so fingers crossed there's some more things to cover tomorrow.

Star Wars D6 Rule Summaries

A few months ago I summarised the D6 rules for any beginners visiting the site, in my Quick Guide to D6 article. Well I've had an almost finished document sitting in my email (if I'm not at home I tend to email myself things I'm working on so I've got access from anywhere) since then, with some of the more detailed rules for D6, and today I've decided to add them to the site. Expanded D6 Rules. If anyone has any comments on what I've got wrong or missed, let me know.

Well, even though I reviewed Han Solo at Stars End yesterday, looking through it, there's nothing left to stat as the Han Solo and the Corporate Sector Sourcebook by West End Games covers it so well.

But fortunately, acer85, noted in the comments a couple of Clone Wars vehicles I missed, so today I've added Invincible / Free Dac Volunteers, Pammant Docks Providence-Class Carrier/Destroyer Variant and Colicoid Creation Nest Trident-class assault ship to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site.

Well, guess since I'll be covering Han Solo's Revenge, and Han Solo and the Lost Legacy over the next couple of days, I'll be looking for anything else I missed. If you've noticed anything let me know and I'll get onto it.

Today I've added Kee (Yuzzem Miner) and Hin (Yuzzem Miner) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, Swamp crawler to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section, Yuzzem to the Star Wars D/6 Races Section, and the Kaiburr crystal, Ration pack and Thermal cape to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section of the Site.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4E Launches At UK Games Expo In June!

I'm a massive fan of 1st Edition Warhammer Fantasy Role Play, it's a dark and gritty world where you're more likely to be battling cultists in a sewer than dragons in a gold filled lair. So I was quite excited to see this, and that they are going back to towards 1st Edition, even the cover looks to be a total homage to the original.

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 4th Edition will officially launch at the UK Games Expo this June.

The Fourth Edition will return players to Warhammer's grim world of perilous adventure, and takes its direction from the first and second editions of the game.

Cubicle 7 CEO Dominic McDowall said, "Like so many gamers I grew up on Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. It's an iconic setting and I'm thrilled to be working on this new edition of the game. Our team have a huge breadth of experience with Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and I’m excited to be able to bring the Cubicle 7 approach to the Old World. We’ll be revealing more of our plans in the coming months, so subscribe to our newsletter and keep an eye on our website!”

The Cubicle 7 website has yet to update with an official announcement of their own at the time of writing, but the post from November 30, 2017, stated: “The release date of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Fourth Edition will be set for mid-2018, with a specific date to be set in a few months.” Well, it’s now a “few months” later, so this would appear to be the official full-release of the game. The new edition was originally planned for a 2017 release as an update of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 2nd Edition (as the rights to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd Edition were still held by Fantasy Flight Games), but when prepping the digital release of 2nd Edition along with Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 1st Edition, it was decided to delay the release until the full overhaul into a new edition could be completed.

A bunch of updates based on the subject of yesterdays review, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 5 Episode 20: The Wrong Jedi. Today I've added the Lightsaber pike to the Star Wars D/6 Weapons Section, Jedi Temple Guard, Ahsoka Tano (as of The Clone Wars) and Barriss Offee (as of The Clone Wars) to the Star Wars Characters Section, and the Holobooth to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section of the Site.

When I started working my way through Clone Wars I said I wasn't going to attempt to do stats for characters until I was pretty sure they'd had their final appearance in the series. Although I've been mistaken a few times (doing someone I thought would never be seen again, only to have them turn up in a later episode), I'm now certain that Ahsoka and Barriss won't be back in The Clone Wars. Sad to see Ahsoka go, although I know I'll see her again fairly soon when I'm working my way through Star Wars: Rebels, it still feels a while away, and a clear sign that Clone Wars as a series is winding down towards it's end.

Well, something a little different tomorrow, but something Star Wars I've adored since the 1970's. See you then.

A few updates today, based on the subject of yesterdays review, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 5 Episode 19: To Catch a Jedi. Today I've added, the Republic police gunship to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section, Mirialan and Rattataki to the Star Wars D/6 Races Section, and Coruscant underworld to the Star Wars D/6 Planets/Places Section of the Site.

Oh, and I've decided what I'm doing during the break between seasons 5 and 6 of The Clone Wars, which kind of excites me as it's something niche I've loved for many decades.

Today I've added just one new thing, from the subject of yesterdays review, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 5 Episode 18: The Jedi Who Knew Too Much. Today I've added an updated version of the Rothana Heavy Engineering / Kuat Drive Yards All Terrain Tactical Enforcer (AT-TE) to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section of the Site.

I've been waiting a while to do this, but I figure we're close enough to the end of the series now that we're not going to have any major new abilities revealed to us for the AT-TE, so I'm safe to add it.

I'd thought about a couple of other things to add from the episode, but according to Wookieepedia they're not actually things. I was going to stat Clone Animal Handlers, for the Massiff handlers that chase Ahsoka, but apparently they're just normal Clone Shock Troopers, so I might need to go back and add animal handling to their skills. I'd also thought there were new ships in the pit Ahsoka jumps into, but apparently they're all ones we've seen (and stat'ed) before. I'll really have to stat out the heroes next, as we reach the end of the series.

Anyway, I shouldn't panic about what I'm going to do each day, when I can panic about what I'm doing during the week break at the end of Season 5, before I start the final Season of Clone Wars, since currently I have no idea.

A couple of additions to the site today, from the subject of yesterdays review, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 5 Episode 16: Sabotage . Today I've added the Crime scene analysis droid to the Star Wars D/6 Droids Section, and an updated version of the Kuat Systems Engineering Eta-2 Actis light interceptor to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site.
Sometimes when I go back to update the stats for something I added to the site back when Revenge of the Sith or Attack of the Clones came out, I'm amazed how well I did with some of the stats. The Eta-2 Actis, I got the weapon load right, but was off with speed, Cost and Consumables by quite a considerable amount.

A few additions today from the subject of yesterdays review of, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 5 Episode 16: The Lawless. Today I've added the Death Watch portable shield to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section, Duchess Satine Kryze (Mandalorian Politician), Korkie Kryze (Mandalorian Student) and Mandalorian super commando to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
The shield includes some rules we knocked up in the Comments section of the Droid commando personal shield when I added that a couple of months ago. The Death Watch shield works against all attacks, not just blasters, and given it's smaller size, I've made it less effective.
I also went to add far more Mandalorians today, given that we seem to have reached the end of their storylines in The Clone Wars, however characters such as Bo-Katan, and Pre-Vizsla, had already been contributed years ago by the always wonderful Jason Dickerson, so there was no need to redo them yet again.

Today I've added, Tour guide droid and Serv-O-Droid, Inc. RIC-series general labor droid to the Star Wars D/6 Droids Section, and Pyke blaster pistol and Black Sun foot soldier blaster to the Star Wars D/6 Weapons Section of the Site.

Just a couple of things from the subject of yesterdays review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 5 Episode 14: Eminence. Today I've added, Pykes to the Star Wars D/6 Races Section, and the Sarisa-class gunship to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site.

Just a couple from the subject of yesterdays review of, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 5 Episode 13: Point of no Return, Today I've added, the Cygnus Spaceworks Nu-class attack shuttle (Cargo Variant) to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, and the Serv-O-Droid DUM-series Maintenance droid to the Star Wars D/6 Droids Section of the Site. I also went back and modified, Cygnus Spaceworks Nu-class attack shuttle as it was extremely wrong, and the stats I'd made a few years ago were based on a weird hybrid of the normal shuttle and the cargo version, making it a little super.

It's been a while, but on April the First among the April Fools and pranks people are playing, RPGGamer.org likes to just be a bit silly. So today, I'd like to present the Kuat Drive Yards All Terrain Armoured Camper (AT-AC) to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section of the Site.
