While I needed to add the Mon Cala Eel for use with the Eel Cage, I have to admit that I only added the Lee Romay to add to the growing number of creatures Hellstormer wants to have in his Star Wars Cookery book. :)
Mainly taking a break today before getting back into Clone Wars tomorrow, but couldn't resist making sure this one was done, I've added Edrison Peavey to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
The reason I couldn't resist this one, is that Edrison Peavey is played by the magnificent comedian, Adrian Edmondson. Ade has starred in comedies from The Young Ones, The Comic Strip Presents... and Bottom, to bit parts in Blackadder and now onto more serious roles. He amazed me when he appeared in the episode of Surviving Disaster about Chernobyl, and my respect for him as both a comedian and an actor capable of a surprising level of gravitas in roles knows no bounds. So, as I said, I couldn't resist.
Only a couple today, the First Order Stormtrooper Executioner added to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, and the Superlaser siege cannon added to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section of the Site.
I've put the Superlaser Siege Cannon up for comments as I'm not 100% happy with it. It feels like it should be really straightforwards, not needing any real additional rules as we've had Superlasers in the RPG since it came out. However the fact that Finn's suicidal crash into the beam emitter would have destroyed the weapon (but then again, the Death Stars exhaust port is never mentioned in the stats for that) isn't covered by the rules. But does it need to be? Any comments and thoughts?
Firstly, my thanks to Freddy on his Last Jedi work, he does great stuff, and even found a lot of pics I had difficulty locating online. My fave is the U-55 Loadlifter. Any who, today I have the BY-Wing Ugly. It's nothing special, just a pic I came across a while back and wanted to make an Ulgy stat from. And I did, may have written too much, but tell me what you think, good or bad.
This video is from the YouTube series Because Science with Kyle Hill, on the Nerdist channel. Interesting, entertaining, funny, quirky, geeky, touches on Star Wars material quite often, and best of all Hill tells how stuff would work in real life. And this one is about lightsabers!

[EDIT] Added the video again, it disappeared somehow. Also, I edited the Hellstormer1 Starship Conversion Guide - Medical Ships and changed "Home One" to "Redemption", and I guess it's time for me to watch the movies again...binge marathon! Speaking of these starship conversion guides, more to come on that. It's just slow going as I try to figure them out. They're a collection of ideas and things I've wished there were rules or guidelines for for many years now, mainly concerning mods for capital ships. Also, added the weapons to The Vigil from the Vakbeor-class. I missed those when I did the write-up as my first pass looking for info didn't turn up much.
I have a feeling that we'll have to return to The Last Jedi in around 6 months to a years time, as there will be more things noticed within the movie and it's background materials. But anyway, today I've added from The Last Jedi, the IT-S00.2 medical droid, the MD-15C medical droid the First Order Patrol droid and the Industrial Automaton SE8 waiter droid to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment/Droids Section of the Site.
Another few updates today from The Last Jedi, today I've added the Vulptex, the Porg and the Fathier to the Star Wars D/6 Characters/Creatures Section of the Site.
Just a wee update today, the planets from The Last Jedi. So I've added D Qar, Cantonica, Crait and Ahch-To to the Star Wars D/6 Planets Section of the Site.
So that's it for season 3 of The Clone Wars, now I'd planned to do The Last Jedi for a week, much like I did between seasons 1 and 2 with The Force Awakens, and seasons 2 and 3 with Rogue One, but Hellstormer has extremely capably been working through that movie and covering almost everything. So, what I'll be doing is going through and picking up the pieces from what he hasn't managed to do yet, filling in some of the Characters from Clone Wars that I skipped. My son kindly bought me The Last Jedi Visual Dictionary for my Christmas, so I've got something to use as a reference guide, and we'll see where we go from here.
Hello. Testing something out that I've wanted to tackle for a while. Starship Conversion - Medical Ships. Inspired by the Anodyne from The Last Jedi. I've got other ideas, just wanting to see what people think of this before doing more. Thanks.
Hmm, video, video.....WARNING! Â SPOILERS! Â Don't wtch if you don't want spoilers!
Today (tonight?) we now have Phasma (As of The Last Jedi), and Maz Kanata (As of The Last Jedi), and Poe Dameron (As of The Last Jedi). Phasma has a few small improvements and adds the Command Staff, as well as a note on whther to use it as a powered weapon like a Force Pike, or a non-powered weapon that can do varying damage depending on how she attacks with it. Or heck, use both versions for two different weapon for her! Â Maz has a few small improvments, mostly adding the Jet/Rocket Pack Operations skill and a Jet Pack to her equipment, but also includes some notes at the bottom in Game Design Notes for advice on how to use her in games to expand on what we've seen if her in the movies so far. Poe was pretty straightforward and simple, though in The Last Jedi I would say his role in the story, from a gaming point of view, would be more about the roleplaying aspect, as we see him do quite a lot this time around
And now that I know we can share videos here, thought I'd share one by The Templin Institute on YouTube on the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Don't knock it before you see it, their videos are well done, and very inspirational. After what's gone on since the release of The Last Jedi (and even before then), I wanted to share a video that goes back to where it ll started for heroes of the Star Wars galaxy, remind us all about this, and watch a really cool vid.
Hello everyone. Today we now have Armitage Hux (As of The Last Jedi), Kylo Ren (As of The Last Jedi), Finn (As of The Last Jedi), and Rey (as of The Last Jedi), all under Major Non-Player Characters in Characters D6. At first glance, these are simple updates to the stats Freddy did previously, with a few notes to explain my thinking. Thought I'd get those out first for a start on the characters since they'd be easy, yet also are main characters, before taking a crack at the other characters that need more attention. Feedback welcome.
EDIT: found this video on Hyperspace in Star Wars by Arch Warhammer. He does interesting and humorous videos on 40K lore, however these videos and their content may need to be viewed by parents before letting children watch. Not that Arch is bad, but different parents have different levels of discretion, so, I'm putting that out there to, obviously, cover my butt. Warning, immense sarcasm abounds.
I had intended to do The Father, The Son and The Daughter today, but I'm a little rushed for time, especially as it'll involve making the Force Wielder Species as well. If anyone else would like a go, then please send them in, or I may have time for a go tomorrow.
Well, it's New Years Day, so Happy New Year to each and everyone who visits the site, I hope it's a great year for you. In 2017 I came back to the site, and since then we've added 308 sets of stats to the site, I've reviewed 67 movies and episodes of Clone Wars, and the numbers of visitors is climbing once again. With us having over 10,000 visitors looking at some 43,000 pages on the site during December alone. Many thanks to each and every one of you, I hope you found something to your liking, and I hope you come back.
You can never predict the future, but keeping to the schedule of Reviewing one day, creating Stats the next seems to be working for me, and fingers crossed I should be able to keep going and creating content for the site, as this seems to have been keeping me motivated and organised enough for the past few months. Back tomorrow.
