Today I was considering not covering all the Amnesty Officers, as we don't even know their names. But I am aiming to be completionist these days, so here we go. So today I've added Elia Kane (Human Imperial Officer / Spy), Amnesty Officer M40 (Human ex-Imperial Officer), Amnesty Officer M34 (Human ex-Imperial Officer), & Amnesty Officer G27 (Human ex-Imperial Officer) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
Many more nameless characters to come tomorrow.

Onto the next episode, The Mandalorian: Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore, and there doesn't seem a massive amount to cover in this one. But today I've added Alamite to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section, Unidentified Cyborg to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, & Cyborg Spider Tank, & Cyborg Mech Droid to the Star Wars D/6 Droids Section of the Site.
I began to think as I was finishing off, that I should have put the Cyborg and his bodies on the same page, but decided to leave them alone and link them up instead.

And I took a day off yesterday, before we move onto Season 3 of the Mandalorian. Starting today with The Mandalorian: Chapter 17: The Apostate, and I've added Gravity Hammer to the Star Wars D/6 Weapons Section, Cumulus Class Corsair, & Pirate Snub Fighter to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, & Anzellan, Jaluku, & Shydopp to the Star Wars D/6 Species Section of the Site.
As it's been more recently, while I've been doing my more completionist run throughs of Star Wars, it's going to take a few days to get through the early episodes, before I've done all the ground work for the later ones. So if you're waiting for something in particular from later in the series, have patience, we'll get there in the fullness of time.

And we reach the end of the second season of Visions, with Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 9: Aaus Song. Which is a nice calmer story, which explores some ideas surrounding Red Kyber, with a slightly more whimsical story.

And today we've got, Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 8: The Pit. A visually quite interesting episode, whose plot doesn't work for me and has larger holes in it than the pit the story is about.

Only a few more to go, today we've got Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 7: The Bandits of Golak. A decent enough episode, which perhaps brings some of Indian culture and history to Star Wars, but sadly I don't have enough knowledge to put it in any context. But an enjoyable episode never-the-less.

And today we're onto, Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 6: The Spy Dancer. A french episode which draws heavily on the Nazi occupation of their nation to draw parallels to the Imperial occupation of an alien planet. Really interesting, and surprising no one has done it before.

And we're onto Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 5: Journey to the Dark Head, and this one is pretty darn interesting and feels quite deep in the concepts it explores. And it's one I'm going to have to revisit once I've had time to think about it.

And onto the next episode, and it's the Aardman animations one that I've kind of been looking forward to, Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 4: I Am Your Mother. My spoiler free review is that I loved this one, it's fun, very much in the style of Aardmans other works such as Chicken Run or Wallace and Gromit, it's short, silly and enjoyable. The high point of the season so far for me.

And onto reviewing the third episode, Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 3: In the Stars . My spoiler free review is that it's another art based story, but I enjoyed this one more than episode 1 of the season, even though there wasn't much story here and the conclusion didn't make a whole bunch of sense.

And my review of the second episode of Visions Season 2, Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 2: Screechers Reach. My spoiler free review is that while it shows us a larger world that we can explore in the episode, it leaves so many plotlines unexplained and unexplored that we're left with so many questions we know will never get answered.
I'm thinking that once Visions is out of the way, I'll move onto the back issues of Vader that I've got sitting here to cover and stat, and then either move onto stat'ing out The Mandalorian Season 3, or reviewing Young Jedi Adventures (I'm leaning more towards The Mandalorian at the moment).

A bit later than I'd hoped, but here's my review of the first episode of the second season of Visions, Star Wars: Visions: Season 2: Episode 1: Sith. My spoiler free review, is that I'm not impressed, the first season all tried to do something interesting, and season 2 gets off to a disappointing start with an episode as bad as any that season 1 had to offer.

04/May/2023 Posted by Freddy

So I've reached the end of Season 2 of The Bad Batch, and lets wrap up with the Batch themselves. Today I've added Hunter (Genetically defective clone Scout/Commander), Omega (Clone Child), Tech (Genetically defective clone Technician), Wrecker (Genetically defective clone Soldier), & Crosshair {CT-9904} (Genetically defective clone Sniper) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
Now I haven't done Echo, as I think the version already on the site is up to date and valid. These versions are based on my older versions I did way back when I covered the unfinished episodes of The Clone Wars series, and although the descriptions on Wookieepedia include their superpowers I've stripped these away as they seem to not have access to these kind of powers any more (Hunter is surprised a few times in the series, when his abilities as listed should mean that he would never be).
I've also toned them down quite a bit from the Unfinished Episodes versions. In those versions, every one of the Batch had a 6D attribute, along with some custom "Special Abilities", to emulate the incredible abilities they displayed in those episodes. I've tended to drop those to 5D now, so they are remarkable, but not superpowered, except for Wrecker, as a 6D Strength only makes him equal to a Wookiee, so I didn't think it was so excessive and left it alone.
As usual any thoughts let me know in the comments and we can discuss and modify. Anyway, today is the day that Visions Season 2 is released, so I should begin reviewing those episodes tomorrow. However, I've some business involving my mothers passing to take care of, so might not get a chance to watch any of them today, so that might be delayed until Saturday. But to tell the truth I'd rather be watching some new Star Wars.

03/May/2023 Posted by Freddy

So we reach the final episode of this season, Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Season 2 Episode 16: Plan 99. And today I've added Admiral Barton Coburn (Human Imperial Officer), & Ciddarin Scaleback {Cid} {as of Season 2 The Bad Batch} (Trandoshan Fixer/Informant) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, AT-AC to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section, & Marauder {as of The Bad Batch series} to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site. So tomorrow I'll do updated versions of the Batch themselves, based on this series, rather than based on the Unfinished Episodes, which sadly will involve de-super-powering them, as I always kind of liked that about them. I guess they'll keep pretty high signature stats through. Find out tomorrow, same bat-time, same bat-channel.

I thought it was going to take a couple of days to get through, Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Season 2 Episode 15: The Summit, but turns out there's not a lot of new characters in this one. So today I've added Lieutenant Maylur (Human Imperial Officer), & Imperial Weapons Technician to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, & Ravens Peak sky train to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section, & Eriadu to the Star Wars D/6 Planets & Places Section of the Site.

And finishing off Season 2 Episode 14: Tipping Point of The Bad Batch, and today I've added Fireball (Clone Trooper), Nemec (Clone Trooper), & Captain Pearce (Human Imperial Officer) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
