And my review of the third episode of Ahsoka, Ahsoka: Part Three: Time to Fly, which I didn't particularly like. It's perhaps because I did love the Rebels series, which this is mainly a continuation of. But a lot of people didn't like Rebels, and didn't watch it, and this seems to be pandering to them by ignoring a lot of what went on in that series, while dealing with the consequences of other parts of it. By trying to do that, it comes across as if it was written by someone who only skimmed the series, which it definitely isn't.

        So had a lot on the past couple of days so no updates, but moving onto Ahsoka: Part One: Master and Apprentice. Now normally I wouldn't start a series until it has finished, but I'm going to avoid the characters for the moment, as they're the ones likely to reveal new skills and talents, but I thought it was fairly safe to do equipment and vehicles.
        And today I've added New Republic Transport, T-6 One-Nine-Seven-Four (Ahsoka Tanos T-6 Shuttle), & E-wing Escort Fighter to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the site.
        Now, these are based on already existing stats, with the E-Wing being a Two Laser Cannon version of the version already on the site, Ahsoka's Shuttle being an armed version of the standard T-6, and the New Republic Transport being a version of a Mon Cal Cruiser. With the transport I scaled back the weapons and increased the cargo capacity as it is described as a Transport in the series, so while the Republic might use it as a capital ship, it is mainly designed for cargo transportation as well. As usual, any thoughts then please let me know in the comments.

        And my review of the first episode of Ahsoka, Ahsoka: Part One: Master and Apprentice. Which I enjoyed, thought looked pretty, thought was well scripted and acted, but found the characterisation to be so different to the Rebels series I struggled to watch at points as it made some of their decisions to be just bizarre.

        And my review of the next issue of Vader, Darth Vader: Issue 36: Dark Droids: Curse of the Jedi, Scourge of the Droids, where the Cover is a lie. Nice use of flashback, if only I knew what the hell is actually happening in the non-flashback sections.

        And from yesterdays issue of Vader, I've added 0-0-0 (Assassin Droid), BT-1 (Assassin Droid), & Arex (Jedi Training Droid) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.
        Now 0-0-0 and BT-1 are both from the Aphra series of comics, which I haven't read so a lot of what I've put into these stats are based on just the Wookieepedia write up. So if you're familiar with these characters and see that I've missed something let me know and I'll update accordingly.

        And back to the Vader series of comics, with my review of Darth Vader: Issue 36: Target Aphra Part II. A decent enough issue, with some interesting ideas in it, but one that raises so many questions as it's trying to be overly clever.
        I've read that Ahsoka actually starts tomorrow, so I'll not have time to even cover everything from this issue before I review the first couple of episodes, but we'll see how things work out.

        And onto the last episode I'll review before Ahsoka starts on the 23rd, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures: Season 1: Story 14: The Missing Kibbin, while really heavy handed in it's message for kids, it's a fun episode and shows off the worldbuilding they've been doing across all the stories.

        I've updated the vehicle Raxlo uses in the episode Forest Defenders, since I'd totally missed the fact that the Harvester itself seems to be an attachment to a transport vessel. So here's the updated version, which I've moved to the Starships Section, Raxlo Corporation Transport (with Harvester attachment). Back to normal updates tomorrow.

        And onto the next episode, Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures: Season 1: Story 13: The Jedi and the Thief, with just a couple to go and less than 2 weeks to go until Ahsoka. This is an enjoyable little episode, whose message isn't as strongly told as I think they thought they were telling it, but loads of action and humour, one of the best of this series so far.

But reading up on them, they really don't have anything different about them except they're bird aliens. It's a good episode, and deals with the situation intelligently, so makes an excellent episode of this series. But I wonder if this kind of series is really what producers should be making.
