April/2020 UPDATES

26/April/2020 Posted by Freddy

Well we're down to the last 3 Clone Wars episodes, and this week it's Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 7 Episode 10: The Phantom Apprentice. And based on this episode we've added Sterling (Clone Trooper), & Ziton Moj (Falleen Crimelord) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

Now, with Clone Wars 2003 ended, and Season 7 of The Clone Wars only releasing once a week, I'm going to take a little break from the site for a couple of weeks. Usually when I finish a season or series, I take a week off the daily updates, but I think apart from doing the weekly Clone Wars Season 7 updates, I'm going to take a longer break this time.

But, when I return I'm going to be working my way through the Tales of the Jedi / Knights of the Old Republic series of comics, and doing the usual routine of a review one day, then the stat's updates from that review the next day.

So, see you next week for Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 7 Episode 11: Shattered, keep safe.

After feedback yesterday, I've rewritten the Force Scream ability as Force Bellow and added it to the The Force D/6 Section of the Site. Many thanks to Prince Darkstorm who advised on this.

And so we reach the last episode of Clone Wars 2003, with our review of Clone Wars: Chapter 25. And today we've added the two Jedi heroes of the end of the series, Roron Corobb (Ithorian Jedi Master) & Foul Moudama (Talz Jedi Master) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

However, I've left out one of their most interesting abilities. In the episodes, Roron Corobb, an Ithorian, bellows and creates a wave of sound which blasts large numbers of Battle Droids away from him, and devastates a corridor pushing General Grievous back.
Now, this is kind of mentioned as a natural ability of him being an Ithorian and having four throats. But this doesn't match anything else we've seen about the Ithorians. So I guess it's him enhancing his natural four throated bellowing with the force, but the nearest published ability I could find was "Force Scream" from the Tales of the Jedi Sourcebook.
But Force Scream does damage, and is reflexively triggered rather than being a power the force user uses. It is also Dark Side.
So, can anyone think of a Force Power which matches Roron Corobb's bellow? Or should I just write a light side version of Force Scream?

Well back to the routine as we work our way through the Clone Wars 2003 series, and we reach the second last episode, Clone Wars: Chapter 24. Today we've added Techno Union Scientist to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, & Nelvaanian to the Star Wars D/6 Races Section of the Site.

The weekly release of season 7 of Clone Wars really messes up my schedule every single week, so there haven't been updates for the past 2 days as I've added reviews instead, so I'll be back to normal tomorrow with the stats from the second last episode of Clone Wars 2003. Anyway yesterday I added the review for Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 7 Episode 9: Old Friends Not Forgotten, and today I've added Rook Kast (Mandalorian Warrior), Vaughn (CT-0292) (Clone Trooper), & Prime Minister Almec (Mandalorian Politician) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site, all based upon this episode.
I'm finding it quite fun how my schedule has lined up though, as I'm reviewing the episodes of Clone Wars 2003 where Shaak-Ti is defending Palpatine during the Battle of Coruscant, only to watch the new season 7 episodes where Anakin and Obi-Wan mention that fact, and rush off to join the battle.
Almost as if I'd planned it out (I didn't, I'm not that organised or well informed).

And we're onto Clone Wars: Chapter 23 on our way through Clone Wars 2003, and based on the episode we've added, Orvos (Nelvaanian Wise-Man) & R4-M6 to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, & Bruise-Leech Crawler & White-furred Bantha to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section of the Site.

As we continue through Clone Wars 2003 we've reached Clone Wars: Chapter 22, and it's got a montage sequence of the Clone Wars raging across the galaxy, which gives us a look at a whole load of more content for the site. So today we've added the Variant Techno Union LM-432 crab droid to the Star Wars D/6 Droids Section, Oro Dassyne (Koorivar General), Jaccoba (Young Wookiee) & Tarkov (Wookiee Hunter) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, Grantaloupe (Kashyyyk Grazing Animal) & Horax (Massive Reptile) to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section, & Baldemnic, Bomis Koori IV, & Orto to the Star Wars D/6 Planets & Places Section of the Site.

So back onto Clone Wars 2003, and we've reached the first episode of season 3, Clone Wars: Chapter 21. Now I thought there would be a bunch to stat out in this episode as quite a lot happens, but it turns out that I covered the Clone Trooper stuff from the start of the episode back in 2003, and the Jedi Council is pretty much just the ones seen in the movies. So today I've actually had to go back to the last episode for something to add, and I'd actually added him to the site before, but something had gone wrong, so today I've added, Shaa Gi (Human Jedi Padawan) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

So we've got another episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 7 as we reach the end of the second arc with Episode 8: Together Again. There's not much in this episode new to add to the site, and what I could find isn't terribly well detailed yet, so I'm not 100% happy with the quality of today additions. But anyway, I've added, Orondia to the Star Wars D/6 Planets & Places Section, and the Nebula-class freighter to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site.
I already added the review for the next episode of Clone Wars 2003, so stats for that episode tomorrow.

So we reach the end of season two of the 2003 Clone Wars series, as we review Clone Wars: Chapter 20. And today we've added Daakman Barrek (Human Jedi Knight), Voolvif Monn (Shistavanen Jedi Master),Tarr Seirr (Cerean Jedi Knight) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, & Hypori to the Star Wars D/6 Planets & Places Section of the Site, all based on the subject of that review.
So, back tomorrow as we move onto season 3.

Back to our reviews of Clone Wars 2003, with Clone Wars: Chapter 19, and there's a whole load of nothing new to add to the site, as all that features in the episode is Yavin IV, Anakin Skywalker and Asajj Ventress. So today we've gone back to episode 8 of the series and added Able-472 (Clone Trooper) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

Well, another week and another episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 7, so I've reviewed Episode 7: Dangerous Debt, and based on this episode, I've added Illustrious Imperator Marg Krim (Pyke Crimelord) & Fife (Pyke Majordomo) to Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

03/April/2020 Posted by Freddy

Now we've reached Clone Wars: Chapter 18 as we continue through the Clone Wars 2003 series. However there's not a damn thing I can stat in this episode. I've done Anakin, I've done Asajj Ventress, I've done Yavin IV, I've even done Ventress' Lightsabers. . . .

        But . . . .

I was recently beginning to rewatch The Mandalorian, and realised I'd never done stats for the two Taxi Landspeeders from near the beginning of the first episode. So today I've added Maldo Kreis landspeeder & Maldo Kreis Droid Controlled Landspeeder to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section of the Site.
Now, there's not much information available about these two vehicles, not manufacturers, models, size or speed. But I've made a few guesses, and will refine them if we ever get a Crosssection book for The Mandalorian.

01/April/2020 Posted by Freddy

Well it's April the First, and I've never liked doing April Fools upon people, as it always feels less fun and more mean spirited. So as usual what I like to do here on RPGGamer.org, is to let my more peculiar fun loving side out a little more, which might actually be more important than ever in these troubling times.
So, today I've added to the site R2-DC0 (Artoo Deco), a custom designed Astromech who preens and preserves his stylish design more than getting on with his work, Snow White (Mandalorian Bounty Hunter), when Disney announced that they were making a Mandalorian Series, this is what I think a load of people thought might happen. A Disney Princess in the Star Wars universe, both added to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section. And the AT-SM (All Terrain Scout Mecha), a Japanese Mecha inspired version of the Scout Walker (pictured), added to the Star Wars D/6 Vehicles Section.
Back tomorrow with the usual routine Clone Wars 2003 review.
