May/2020 UPDATES

30/May/2020 Posted by Freddy

And we reach the second last part of this story as we continue through the Tales of the Jedi era, with The Fall of the Sith Empire 4: The Dogs of War. And today we've added Naga Sadows Sith Meditation Sphere, Starbreaker 12, & Jori Daragons Armed Courier to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, & Gav Daragon (Human Explorer) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

Now, I tend to use Wookieepedia for my descriptive texts for the stats, but today I disagree completely with one of their descriptions. For the Sith Meditation Sphere, they list it as being Armed with Laser cannons and a Magnetic accelerator. However "Fall of the Sith Empire" describes the vessel as helpless (although that could have been since Gav fired on it damaging it), but also Wookieepedia describes it as only 10 meters across. Even if that's only the central pod, and not the wings (which would make it Tie Fighter sized), the comic clearly shows Gav Daragon landing his shuttle within the vessel, and exploring the corridors of the ship, until he realises that Sadow has slipped past him and stolen his shuttle.
Unless the meditation sphere is like a TARDIS, there's no way that could occur on a vessel only 10 meters in size. So I've made it larger, and given it abilities similar to the Concentration power available to force users.
Anyway, if you have any comments, please let me know.

Okay, the last few of this first batch of missing Clone Wars characters, and in this one I've actually done a couple more than the wonderful Xain Arke located, and most of them are from Season 2 Episode 11: Lightsaber Lost.
So today I've added, Tera Sinube (Cosian Jedi Investigator), M5-BZ - Beezee (Astromech Droid), Ione Marcy (Coruscanti Thief), Nack Movers (Trandoshan Assassin), & Cassie Cryar (Terrelian Jango Jumper Thief) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

Now when I say most of them are from that episode, M5-BZ although being the Astromech Droid of Tera Sinube, who features heavily in Lightsaber Lost, isn't seen until Season 5 during the D-Squad episodes starting with Secret Weapons. But I thought it was applicable to add him with his master, so he's included today.

Well, I'd intended to finish off the first batch of missing Clone Wars characters today, but these characters are taking longer than expected as some of them are so minor I'm really having to reach for what characteristics make them individuals (and I'm probably getting a whole load wrong). So here's a bunch for today and I'll do the last ones tomorrow (which suits as I've got a lot going on tomorrow, so could do with just having a smaller workload from the site.
Anyway, from Season 2 Episode 1: Holocron Heist I've added Cato Parasitti (Clawdite Bounty Hunter).
From Season 2 Episode 17: Bounty Hunters, I've added Rumi Paramita (Frenk Bounty Hunter), & Sugi (Zabrak Bounty Hunter).
From Season 2 Episode 18: The Zillo Beast, I've added Nakha Urus (Dug Doge), & Doctor Sionver Boll (Bivali Scientist).
And finally today, from Season 2 Episode 10: The Deserter I've added Suu Lawquane (Twilek Homesteader), & Cut Lawquane (ex-Clonetrooper) all to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

Freddy

PS, love this picture from The Deserter.

So continuing with the missed characters from Star Wars: The Clone Wars which have been found by Xain Arke.
Today from Season 1 Episode 9: Cloak of Darkness we've got, Captain Faro Argyus (Senate Guardsman).
From Season 1 Episode 10: Lair of Grievous, we've got Nahdar Vebb (Mon Calamari Jedi Knight).
And from Season 1 Episode 13: Jedi Crash, there's Wag Too (Lurmen Healer), & Tee Watt Kaa (Lurmen Villager).
From Season 1 Episode 14: Defenders of Peace, we've got Lok Durd (Seperatist General).
Season 1 Episode 15: Trespass, there's Riyo Chuchi (Pantoran Politician), & Chi Cho (Chairman of the Pantoran Assembly).
And finally today from Season 1 Episode 17: The Blue Shadow Virus, there's Nuvo Vindi (Faust Scientist), Peppi Bow (Gungan Shaak Herder), & Neeyutnee (Queen of Naboo).

Back tomorrow with the last few of this first batch.

As pointed out by Xain Arke in the comments, I missed a bunch of characters when I was working through the Clone Wars Series. He's been kind enough to identify which ones I didn't do, and before we start on "Fall of the Sith Empire", I'm going to work my way through the first batch he's identified.
So today, from Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Movie there's Whorm Loathsom (Kerkoiden General) .
From Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 3 Episode 1: Clone Cadets I've added El-Les (Arcona Bounty Hunter), Bric (Siniteen Bounty Hunter), 99 (Clone Janitor), & Hevy (CT-782) (Clone Trooper).
From Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 3 Episode 3: Supply Lines, we've got Lott Dod (Neimoidian Politician), King Katuunko (Toydarian Ruler), & Ima-Gun Di (Nikto Jedi Master).
And finally for today, from Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 1 Episode 6: Downfall of a Droid we've got Gha Nachkt (Trandoshan Captain), all added to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

Freddy

PS, this also takes us up to all the sixes, with 6666 sets of Stats on the site. Which amused me.

And today we reach the final issue of the first series of the Tale of the Jedi we're covering, with our review of The Golden Age of the Sith 5: The Flight of Starbreaker 12. And today we've added Battlemind to the Star Wars D/6 The Force Section, Sith tracking device creature to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section, Sith Empire Sith starfighter to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, & Ludo Kressh (Sith Lord) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

Now I was going to take a day or two off between the series of comics (as I usually take a week off, but after only 6 issues, that seems cheeky), but Xain Arke has been doing some stellar work in finding all the characters I missed on my quest through The Clone Wars. So over the next 2 or 3 days I'm going to work my way through the first batch of missing stats.

And we reach the second last part of the first run of Tales of the Jedi that we're going through, with The Golden Age of the Sith 4: Pawns of a Sith Lord. And based on this comic we've added Sonam-Haar (Jedi Master), Tuknatan (Jedi Master), Dor Gal-ram (Sith Lord), & Horak-mul (Sith Lord) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, Sith Pincerbug to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section, & Empress Tetas starship to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site.

Moving onto the next issue of the Tales of the Jedi series as we continue working our way through them all, with a review of The Golden Age of the Sith 3: The Fabric of an Empire. And today we've added Simus (Lord of the Sith) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, & Khar Delba, Khar Shian, & Ziost to the Star Wars D/6 Planets & Places Section of the Site.

Today we've got the review for The Golden Age of the Sith 2: Funeral for a Dark Lord as I continue through The Tales of the Jedi series of comics. And today we've added Aarrba (Hutt Businessman), & Memit Nadill (Jedi Master) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, Sith escort gunship to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section, & Koros Major (Empress Teta) to the Star Wars D/6 Planets & Places Section of the Site.
Normally I wouldn't include characters until their final issue/episode, but with so much of Golden Age of the Sith being set up, I've got a feeling that it would mean there wouldn't be many additions to the site until the final issue, when I'd have to add everything. So I'm trying to stagger things a bit more with this series, but it does mean if you're reading along, then there are some spoilers in the Character Bio's, which reveal the fate of some of these characters.

Onto the first proper issue during our journey through Tales of the Jedi, with The Golden Age of the Sith 1: Into the Unknown. And today we've added Gorrm (Assistant and Navigator to Ssk Kahorr), & Ssk Kahorr (Cha-a Businessman/Crimelord) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, Eriaduan Rat to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section, Cha-a to the Star Wars D/6 Species Section, & Cha-a drone ship to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site.

Visitor Xain Arke was good enough to point out some Clone Wars stats that I totally failed to cover during my time working through the seven seasons, so today I'd like to present, Talzin (Dathomirian Witch), Zatt (Nautolan Youngling), Clone Commander Doom, & Tiplee (Mikkian Jedi Master) all added to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section of the Site.

And honestly truly many thanks to him for pointing out these ones I missed. I really can't believe I never covered Talzin before, how on earth did I miss her?
So, if you spot anything I've not covered, then let me know, it's really appreciated. As is any feedback on the stats I add, sometimes I totally miss things when I'm doing these, and forget the time a character was swimming, so definitely should have Swimming skill, or that force power someone used that one time, so they should have it. I'm far from perfect, and sometimes make characters too powerful, or too weak, so really appreciate any feedback, as it all improves the site, something I'm always striving to do.

Anyway, back tomorrow with more Tales of the Jedi stuff.

And today we begin our long mentioned journey through the Tales of the Jedi series of comics which came out in the 1990's. We're going to cover them in chronological order rather than release order, so beginning some 5000 years before The Battle of Yavin with The Golden Age of the Sith 0: Conquest and Unification. And today we've addedHok Daragon (Human Explorer/Pilot), Timar Daragon (Human Explorer/Pilot), & Ooroo (Celegian Jedi Master) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, Celegian & Draethos to the Star Wars D/6 Species Section, & The Shadow Runner to the Star Wars D/6 Starships Section of the Site.

And so we reach the end of Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7, with our review of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 7 Episode 12: Victory and Death and it's a good one. So today we've added Morai (Convor Observer) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, and Convor (Gold and Brown Bird) to the Star Wars D/6 Creatures Section of the Site based on this episode, or at least the closing moments of it.
And that's us done with The Clone Wars . . . again.
So, we're going to start our long talked of journey through the Tales of the Jedi series of Graphic novels. We'll be going through them chronologically rather than based on release date, so starting with Golden Age of the Sith. And we'll be doing our reviews and stats based on each individual issue (so Golden Age of the Sith will be split over 6 reviews and sets of stats, from Issue 0 to Issue 5). So join us as we go through Golden Age of the Sith, The Fall of the Sith Empire, Ulic Qel-Droma and the Beast Wars of Onderon, The Saga of Nomi Sunrider, The Freedon Nadd Uprising, Dark Lords of the Sith, The Sith War, & Redemption which should take us the next 2 to 3 months to get through.

Well, the second last episode of Clone Wars is now out, and here's our obviously very spoilery review, Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Season 7 Episode 11: Shattered. And today, based on that episode we've added, CH-33P (Astromech), G-G (Astromech), R7-A7 (Ahsoka Tanos Astromech) & Tiplar (Mikkian Jedi Master) to the Star Wars D/6 Characters Section, and the Mandalorian Force-wielder prison to the Star Wars D/6 Equipment Section of the Site.
The final episode is out on monday (May the Fourth be with you!), and our review should be done tuesday, and the stats on Wednesday, and then we'll start regular updates once again by starting the Tales of the Jedi series of comics.
